"My favorite place to end my visits to Germany. Close to Munich airport for early morning flights. Right on the main street of Freising with lots of shopping and dining. Weihenstephan Biergarten a lovely walk from town through their gardens overlooking town. All rooms spacious, clean and modern. AC available, which is nice in summer. Excellent buffet breakfast with early 6am start. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking on-site but there is a small fee. Elevator available. Will continue to stay."

"Authentic and rustic on the outside, my room had been refurbished with up to date bathroom fixtures and shower, flooring, paint and furniture. Able to sleep 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small kids. The Gruner Hof is a short walk across the Isar to Freising's old town and monastery (must see). Lots of options for public transportation; bus, train, taxi. Quaintness factors: 2nd story rooms have the sloping roof and ceiling. I'm tall. Took me a week to stop bumping into it. Across the street is a church/school with a bell tower that chimes the time from 7am to 10pm; you'll always know the time but doesn't bother at night. Good sidewalks everywhere."

"We stayed in Freising because it was a short bus ride to the Munich airport and we had already spent time in Munich. The hotel and location were perfect. We arrived around 2 pm, our room was ready, and the gentleman that checked us in gave us great restaurant recommendations. We shopped and ate along the street right in front of the hotel. It was a fabulous day. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good."

"Modern concept, smart device, very simple check-in, reasonable price, but also no sneak. Unfortunately, rather narrow beds for 2 and very simple head kit - there was saved at the wrong place. Many roofs right in the bathroom are suboptimal and naturally lead to many windows on the newly white wall. :-( In sum, even with rare alternatives, a good choice but not yet excellent"
