"I actually felt that the hotel staff were very friendly and were very happy to answer my questions and help. The front desk answered a lot of my questions and provided assistance so that I could park in the hotel parking space. But when I was in China, when I encountered problems with carrying multiple suitcases, there would always be staff to help. This time in the Marriott Hotel, considering that there were not many employees, such assistance might not be provided. Instead, guests were required to carry their own suitcases and put them on the hotel's luggage cart and then push them up by themselves. I think there is room for improvement in this regard. "Authentic and rustic on the outside, my room had been refurbished with up to date bathroom fixtures and shower, flooring, paint and furniture. Able to sleep 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small kids. The Gruner Hof is a short walk across the Isar to Freising's old town and monastery (must see). Lots of options for public transportation; bus, train, taxi. Quaintness factors: 2nd story rooms have the sloping roof and ceiling. I'm tall. Took me a week to stop bumping into it. Across the street is a church/school with a bell tower that chimes the time from 7am to 10pm; you'll always know the time but doesn't bother at night. Good sidewalks everywhere."
