Bio Boutique Hotel Barbara

We wanted to stay just for one night in a hotel nearby Europa Park, and we decided to get this one, as it is close to the railway station, old town, shops, restaurants and a big cinema complex - and at the same time it is in a very quit, small street. Our room was a family room for 3 on the 3rd floor, very tidy and quite big, much bigger than I expected anyway. The furniture is quite recent and solid and the bedding comfortable. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, check-in and out quick. The breakfast buffet was delicious and quite a big choice of everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My only complaint was that the WiFi didn't work very well up on the third floor. The room was charming and the location was convenient to the train station and other attractions in the older part of the city.

Cute property located very conveniently close to the train station. Staff were very nice and offered a free room upgrade. Breakfast was fantastic definitely worth the money. Room had a view of the inner courtyard garden. Bed was comfortable. Would stay again!

Parking is 3 blocks away. No elevator made carrying our 50 pound bags to the fifth floor very challenging, not to mention the up and down 4 times a day. Room is also very very small.

Great single room. Comfortable bed, excellent bedding, and a fantastic breakfast. A one-minute walk from the train station. A fifteen minute walk to the Black Forest. The hotel is very quiet and not on a main street. I will staying here again soon.

I really enjoyed this little hotel and the area it was in. The staff were very kind and the room was clean and big enough. There was also AC which was important to me for my mom. I felt safe in the area and the street quieted down by 10:30. There are two restaurants on the street, but they were quiet by 10:30-11. The other guests were quiet and I couldn’t hear too much in the hotel. One very important detail is there is no lift. We were on the 4th floor, so had to climb quite a few stairs each time. If you have mobility issues remember to request a lower floor and remember if you live in the US their first floor is really like our second. Other than that the hotel is lovely and the decor felt very authentic and homey. It’s a good value I feel and I enjoyed the area. We ate at the Antica restaurant across the street on the corner two nights in a row. There was not a coffee machine in the room, but the one downstairs is really nice. I have zero complaints and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
