.....a really nice break from the I-95 traffic. The front desk/welcoming staff (every single one of them) : PLEASANT - HELPFUL - CARING....but it seemed they had a burden of being short-staffed. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. However there was an issue with MAINTENANCE. Our bathroom sink would NOT drain (plugged???). When we requested a plunger, it was the poor lady working the front desk, NOT maintenance who apparently left the front desk to bring the plunger to our room. That IS WRONG!! MAINTENANCE/HOUSEKEEPING??? Upon arrival and going to our room on floor 2, the hallway carpeting was soiled - stained in not one but many areas....NOT a good 1st impression---Where are the "eyes" (supervision-managers) to "SEE" and correct this?? OK, that done, the breakfast was surprisingly VERY GOOD ....and it had BACON, a nice surprise as well as the gentleman working/serving. He worked hard but was pleasant and actually spoke with the patrons....NICE....All in all, not bad...SLEEP INN just needs to "see" those little things that "MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!!"
