Homewood Suites by Hilton Fredericksburg

We came to the area to see the battlefields and used our free night. We are diamond members and have stayed in tons of Hilton hotels. The place was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was pre usual, nice spread and welcome amenity since everyone these days is so expensive. No complaints except one little comment. We were offered 250 bonus Hilton honors points if we did not take the free water bottle and snack. We opted for the water etc since we had a long day driving and touring. I was disappointed when the snack was ONE hundred calorie chocolate bar for both of us. I know times are tough but at least give each person a snack. We have had many different snacks over the years and some are very generous and some not so much! We should have taken the points haha! I would recommend this hotel. It had a clean appearance and many amenities available.

Stopped here for an overnight on our way back to NJ. Having stayed at the Homewood Suites in Savannah we decided to give this one a try. First off, the location is great! It's in the heart of all shopping in Fredericksburg with conveneient restaurants everywhere and is located right next to the Fredericksburg Convention Center. We chose the check-in via the Hilton app and obtained our digital room key which was great. However, since we got in after 11pm we still had to check in at the front desk. Angelo, the front desk attendant, was extremely helpful and informative regarding breakfast, etc. He even provided us with bottled waters upon arrival which was very sweet considering the long drive we had. The room we got was a suite setup with a separate closed off bedroom and a living room/kitchen area combo. This was great as it allowed my husband and I to go watch the morning news while our daughter still slept. The shower was also awesome and it was a strong shower with excellent water pressure. The location of the room was great.....nice and quiet. But overall the location of the hotel is really quiet. I assume that many of the occupants at the hotel are corporate or military workers and are out the door before 9am (during the week) because when we checked out there was hardly anyone in the parking lot. The only thing that wasn't great was that breakfast during the week is only until 9am (unlike other places that we've stayed). We did manage to grab some coffee from the front lobby (which wasn't much as it wasn't refilled) around 9:30am and grab some leftover muffins just to have something. But the bright side is that with checkout at noon we were able to take our time getting ready and it allowed our daughter to sleep in a bit. After check out we went to the Cracker Barrel for brunch (which is right within the adjacent shopping complex) before heading back on the road.....so it all worked out! This is definitely a hotel that we have locked in as one of our favorites for future stops to and from Jersey!

Have used this hotel before. After this visit, I would never use again. Not kid friendly, at 8:15pm was told that they had people that need to get up early and the kids were making too much noise in the pool.( not even loud, in this was a Saturday night)I felt that it was a racial problem. Always book rooms for family reunions.( not anymore). And we’ll be calling the corporate office. After spending over 500.00, never again.

Stayed here while on a road trip. Great spot, would absolutely stay here again. Slept great. Felt safe in the area . There is breakfast offered but slept so good slept right through it . Cleanliness is very important to me and everything here felt very clean! There is also free WiFi offered for guests and a nice work space .

If you are in Fredericksburg with a group of more than 2 people, this is your best bet. The entire hotel is fresh and modern looking with updated fixtures, kitchen appliances, and televisions. The bathroom vanity was smaller than some but came equipped with storage and a functional blow dryer. I liked the liquid hand soap dispenser too. The layout was perfect for our family group, and the staff members we spoke with were helpful, including the gentleman at breakfast who brought out blueberry muffins at our request. There are a few additions that would have made it a perfect 10: a. a magnifying make-up/shaving mirror b. a small trash receptacle in the inner part of the split bath c. bath towel storage in the inner bath where the shower is d. an in-room safe The location is convenient, near a shopping center and some big box stores and close to I-95. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here before finishing a drive to DC on Saturday morning to avoid dealing with city traffic on a crazy Friday night. It worked out perfectly. It was great to have the option of a suite where we could have a door to the sitting area, where our 20 yo daughter slept. There are a few turns to get here but once you arrive it is quiet--there's a small convention center next to it so check the calendar though. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We had dinner at CAVA and it was great to have a healthy option close. The outdoor spaces are nice for coffee in the morning. Staff is good. Once we left Fredericksburg in the morning, we were right in the crazy traffic so I'm very thankful we decided to stop here and get some sleep before dealing with that!

Great hotel for gathering with friends. Second visit to the Homewood F'burg - and the hotel did not disappoint. 5 couples gathered for college reunion and had a great time - both at reunion and hotel. Weather was great and the hotel had a lovely gathering area outside, complete with fire table and sofas/chairs. Had tried to stay at Hyatt Place simply because of proximity but Hyatt customer service was AWFUL and hotel couldn't even respond to arbitrary changes to reservations. Thank you, Homewood for honoring the reservation and the confirmation.

One bedroom suites are large and clean, and include an area for dining. Pet-friendly; nice staff upon check-in; good breakfast. Hotel is not immediately off the highway, but is in an area with plenty of restaurants. Overall, a good experience and a place to put on the list for next year.

Excellent choice if you want to stay in the Baltimore area. Springhill Suites is consistently well maintained and appropriate for family or business trips because of spacious suites and helpful staff. Highly recommend!
