"We ate in the restaurant 14/6/24. Food was meagre, 4 slices of supposedly roast lamb, 2 small roast potatoes, 4 rotten black tatties, 1 sprig of broccoli. Peas and gravy were ok. This meal was sold as a roast dinner. Total joke. Service lacking. Don’t bother wasting your money. If this was all the chef could produce he needs sacking."

"This is a quirky place, located a short distance out of the village, that seems to have been stuck in time and needs a little refurbishment. The negative is that, as you arrive, the aroma of the fryers hits you but once past reception, my room was large with excellent facilities and a wonderful view across the fields. The staff are extremely friendly but the food is very average. Breakfast was enormous and certainly set me up for 8 hours on the road."
