Sonesta Select Boston Foxborough Mansfield

We got rebooked to this hotel due to our first booking was oversold. It is a 45 minute-drive to Boston, but it is a nice accommodation.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff are very kind and personable. We had a Deluxe King room and it was perfect! We enjoyed the Starbuck Bar area in the lobby. There was also a great variety of Grab/Go items by the front desk. The location was perfect and we enjoyed our balcony view over the courtyard.

Our wedding weekend at Sonesta Select Foxborough was exceptional. The newly remodeled lobby and rooms were modern and elegant. The staff, notably the manager James, was helpful, kind, and accommodating. He played a crucial role in securing room blocks and that every detail—from additional rooms, to ensuring the conference room for our bridal suite, to the bar for our after-party festivities, was handled seamlessly. His willingness to engage in multiple conversations with us were invaluable. The hotel provided an excellent space for our guests, contributing to the overall success of our joyous celebration. Highly recommend for any special event.

We stayed here for the night of the Stevie Nicks/Billie Joel concert. Room was clean and comfortable and the whole hotel seemed to be in good condition. On the negative side, the reception staff were a bit grumpy and, whilst breakfast was available, it was quite limited.

All the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. The location is very convenient to Gillette Stadium, and there are several decent breakfast, coffee, and restaurant options within a 2-10 minute drive. Our room was a tad small but very clean and had a sliding door to a small balcony. They have a tiny little Starbucks in the lobby with a barista who made me a very good iced latte. The biggest issue we had was that the hallway outside our room, and the room itself, smelled like they were in the middle of painting and/or installing new carpets. But that's probably why it looked fairly decent and updated.

We just stayed here for a family wedding. Unless you have such a reason to stay here, I would steer clear. They did a nice job remodeling the lobby and common spaces, but the rooms are old, tired, small, and run down. Until they invest in some room upgrades and maybe some deodorizer (hallways consistently smelled like grilled borocolli), I would recommend you steer clear. I will say on the positive side that the staff was friendly and helpful when asked for assistance.

It was fun I stayed in 259 it was amazing I hope you have fun F.Y.I the house keeper left a note look for it.It is the first hotel I have ever been to I really enjoying hide and seek with my sisters so much fun and I recommend it.

Last week we stayed at the Sonesta Select in Foxborough. There was a death in the family and we were looking for a place to stay for the night between calling hours and the funeral. We searched online for hotels in the area. Sonesta's website boasts about their on-site restaurant. It would make things easier not to have to look for food in an unfamiliar area, so we chose the Sonesta based on the restaurant. When we arrived and checked in, we saw that the building was under construction. We went to our room and changed our clothes. As we were leaving for the funeral home, we went to the front desk and asked how late the restaurant served food. We were then told the restaurant was closed due to construction. They did point out that they have an outdoor sitting area - which would have been nice, I guess, if we'd brought food for a picnic. So beware. The restaurant at the Sonesta Select has been reduced to a vending machine - which they never thought to mention on their website or even at check-in. The literature in the room was still advertising the restaurant!

Ok, I get it, this is not a five star hotel. But it isn't dirt cheap either. My stay here cost me $200 per night. So, here's a list of things that $200 per night does NOT include: complementary coffee any kind of restaurant on the hotel's premises a pool with water in it exterior doors to the parking lot that would unlock with the keys we were given a gym that could comfortably fit more than one adult at a time a gym with water, wipes or towels a public restroom To be fair, the hotel is under construction now. Also, the staff was great. But it's hard to justify $200 / night with the complete lack of amenities.
