I made the reservation in advance, and due to an online booking error, I was assured I would be getting a King Suite upgrade, because of the size of my family. Upon arrival, I was in shock to learn that their incidental charge was a whopping $150! It took over 40 minutes to get checked in, with no one else around. I provided my credit card for the incidentals after arguing over the fact that I spoke with someone about the upgrade, I was basically called a liar! The card was run, I had my banking app open and saw it post as a pending charge, the card reader said approved for a split second. Then the woman proceeds to tell me to run it again, WHAT!? I showed my banking app, and told her it said approved, she informed me that it was not connected and that they must have the fee paid. IT WAS PAID, I was down $150 bucks. The manager came out said it was resolved, basically by blocking us from ordering to the room! Finally, in the room, it was nice, tech heavy. The beds were comfy, but the lights in the bathroom were not working, refrigerator spoiled our fruit! Four times they had to come to fix the lights, even in the middle of the night when my 7-year-old was needing to go to the restroom, appalling. The valet there is a joke, most of the time they were nowhere to be found, but during checkout, we called for our vehicle, and waited nearly 40 minutes for that, then when it came, I forgot the ticket, though they had remembered me, it was about 25 degrees outside, and they refused to hand me the keys! This incident took another 30 minutes to resolve, so I stood in the cold with three children, and once they spoke to my husband, even though I was the one they interacted with the day prior they finally handed me the keys. The $150 2-weeks later is still pending. I was assured that it would drop after 72-hours, though I am not sure how, since they said it did not process on their end, what a load of crap! At this point the $150 is just the cherry on top, if I do not get the money back, I will speak to my attorney, I feel that after this horrid experience, you all should provide a full refund. YOU DID NOT EVEN HAVE ICE! Really! Then the sign asking for a tip is a joke.
