The Lighthouse Resort Inn & Suites

The location and price of this place are about the ONLY good things. Upon arriving at our room we immediately noticed it wasn’t the cleanest, but nothing too concerning especially because the price was right and we weren’t going to be spending much time in the room anyways. All was fine and dandy until we were about to go to bed. That is when we saw the coachroaches and there were a LOT of them. Adults and nymphs included. Crawling out from the under fridge, beds, in the cabinets. Even found one in a left over coffee cup that was inside the fridge overnight. We immediately went to the front desk and their only response was that “palmetto bugs (aka coachroaches) are normal in some of our rooms” and “that’s why our rates are so low”. I totally understand these bugs are common in Florida, but we killed so many and kept finding more. We ended up leaving the hotel the next morning because they had no other rooms available and only offered to have someone come spray the room. No partial refund or anything to make up for it if we stayed. Very disappointing and such a headache to move hotels during a vacation. Would not recommend.

I ordered room service when i got here i sat down happy to eat after having nothing to eat. They COMPLETELY FORGOT an item in my order that i paid for. The lady at the front desk suggested i go and get it myself . - i said that is not the point of room service. Aug22nd room 112 - 7:00 completely didnt even bring the drink i asked for , luckily it was just a three dollar Coca-Cola but imagine this was a $12 drink. Imagine how upset I would be over that.

Our room and the staff were wonderful but the new pool that was advertised was not open. We were not told until 3 days before our trip which we were already driving to Fort Myers Beach from New York.

This is a great hotel yo have fun and party all night. The kind if place you don’t care how everything looks because you won’t spend much time in your room. There’s a band that plays every night until 11 or pass. The rooms and place should have a full renovation from bathroom tiles to replacing vinyl flooring. There was only 2 bed sheets for us to cover. Terrible fllors Floors were in terrible shape and need to be replaced. The planks were cracked bad. Do NOT walk barefoot.

We had a one night stay .I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was recently renovated, very nice decor! Lots of fun activities 😀 Everyone enjoyed the pool , lots of fun with the other guests!!!! We will definitely come again.
