This is worst place !!! Do not stay there. They are a ripoff. Nasty Nasty Nasty.... If you want to get robbed by an unprofessional staff and be treated totally unfairly this the place for you. Never Never again. And if you use ******* they are horrible also they provide you with absolutely no help either.

Let me start by saying that you should not trust every review when you choose to book. I booked this place based on a friends recommendation. After booking, I read a lot of the reviews and instantly regretted it. Upon arrival, the place looks run down, from the outside. There are two buildings and one seems to be better kept than the other. Also, the parking lot needs a lot of work. The lobby is beautiful and well air conditioned. I cannot speak for every room, however, ours was 210 in the older building and immaculate. We had a two bedroom suite and it was VERY spacious and VERY clean. Housekeeping needs to be requested when you want it, but it is available. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. No coffee pot. Each bedroom came with air condition that really pumps. The bathroom is tiny but, functional. The lighting in the rooms was not great, especially if you need to get ready. There is also not a lot of drawer space. Other downside to the room, which is not the properties fault , is just the sheer amount of sand that ends up accumulating in there . There are two pools. One of which goes to 8 feet with a seated edge all around and another that goes to 6 feet. The 8 foot pool has no shade, but plenty of seats. The pool closes at 8, but there are people out there past 8. The 6 foot pool has plenty of shade. There are loungers, cabanas and shaded seats. Pool towels are available in the lobby. Both pools are VERY hot. Both pools also have a variety of lizards/ iguanas that hang out. The resident iguana was named Jimmie by a guest. He will try to eat your food. He can climb tables. AND on occasion he poops in the pool and it looks like human poop. The “public” beach is a 20 minute walk down the street. There are no amenities at the beach. On our 4th day, a local showed us how to cut through the hotel across the street. Probably not smiled upon, but if you are not an a**hole, then you can also do this. Beach chairs are available for 5 dollars per day through the hotel lobby or 15 dollars per day at the jetski hut at the other hotel. Only cons, in my opinion, are the amount of homeless people that are around the property. They are friendly and do not bother you. There is a Winn Dixie in walking distances as well as a liquor store, McDonald’s, beach store, Dunkin and nail salon. For the price, I HIGHLY reccomend this hotel.

Good location. Rooms were OK. My main reason for my low rating is that my a/c was broken, I had to call and wait twice to get it fixed, and they offered no credit or compensation for my inconvenience. I needed to use the room for work meetings, and had to adjust my evening plans and let them know that. Their response was that it could have been worse.

Nous avons ete au ocean beach palace lors des vacances familiales, l’emplacement est vraiment très bien! Proche de l’épicerie, proche de la plage, meme un mcdo pas loin pour les enfants! Le circuit en plus nous apporte un peu partout dans lauderdale by the sea! L’hotel est vraiment très bien! Ma chambre etait propre, la clim fonctionnait à merveille. C’etait un peu bruyant le soir mais sans plus. Nous avions acces aux deux piscines du complexe! Je recommande! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour!

You might think that this place looks like a dump but it’s surprisingly way nice! We came to this hotel three years in a row for the tortuga music festival. We didn’t want to be on the beach paying $500+ a night so we decided to stay here for a little less. The rooms are nice, air conditioning works, the beds are pretty comfortable and the restaurant across the street at a neighboring hotel is great! The food at the hotel restaurant isn’t amazing but it isn’t bad either. There are a few pools, which we appreciated, and it was kind of dead actually which we didn’t mind. The only complaint is that there is not a gym here but that’s not the end of the world. I am very picky and I really liked this place for what it is!

We stayed here thru Dayuse, to have a spot for the day after a cruise before an evening flight. The room was very basic, but nice. It did seem that it might be a nice place to stay. A little far from the main action. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to test the distance or time it takes to walk to the beach as it turned out to be a very rainy day. The shining star was the young woman, Angela, at the front desk. She was working alone, and the place was crazy with people checking in and checking out (around 10:00 am), people coming up to the desk asking for things like extra towels, and the phone ringing off the hook. She continued to help everyone in fairly quick order and maintained her composure and friendly, professional, polite demeanor. There was a with our reservation (duplicate reservations due to Dayuse error). Angela got it fixed quickly and got us checked in easily. Just a very friendly, pleasant individual to deal with.

We arrived early in the morning having just returned from a cruise. Mark and Angela worked their magic and got us into our room early so we would have a place to rest and relax before flying home the next day. Our room was clean and looked redone.
