Salt & pepper calamari tasty. Meal for 4 starters, 4 mains, 2 shandies, 6 soft drinks, 6 coffees = £154.80 Staff were superb. Very efficient, friendly and accommodating. Whilst the food was good, the staff made us want to return and we will."

"Graham and Sheena have the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. The rooms are luxurious, the entire staff are very friendly and helpful. Our meals were delicious!! Graham and Sheena visited with us sharing stories of their experiences and we had the special treat of spending time with their pets, Frank …Old Blue Eyes and Buddy. They even arranged a Piper to play tunes for us that were traditional tunes, not the usual ones . Scott was truly a special treat. We can’t thank them enough and are looking forward to our next visit."

"Blervie House is the most beautiful estate I have ever stayed in. Graham, his wife Sheena, and their team are so kind, and our room was incredibly beautiful. Breakfast each morning was delicious and we were lucky enough to have a private dinner with a bagpiper on our last night, which was very special. As Americans who are learning about Scotland, Graham was a wonderful host, telling us about the home and about the area. I hope we can return!"

"As a solo traveller with 2 medium-sized collies, Macbeth’s Hillock was perfect for our 2 night stay. The pod is well thought out, with small thoughtful touches, though very compact in floor space & possibly challenging in roof height for those above 6 foot, in view of the triangular roof. But for my needs, it worked really well. - Good fixtures & fittings - Hot shower with good water pressure - All necessary ‘extras’ - soap by basin, washing up liquid, surface cleaner, washing cloth & tea towel. - Camping chairs, great for enjoying breakfast on the small decking area in front of the pod (I had beautiful weather!) - Excellent service & communication in the booking process with self-service check-in I found the bed a little firm but recognise beds are a personal thing & it was better than camping on the ground!! Also I could hear the noise of the A96 - not a major issue but as I live in a very rural area, I noticed it. And I loved the walk down the country lane from the site for the dogs! Overall, loved my stay & congratulate the owners on what they’ve achieved! It’s the little touches which make you realise they care."
