A wonderful stay from start to finish. Very welcoming and friendly, felt like home from home. Doug and Rach ensured that our stay was everything we wanted it to be and offered their recommendations based on their local knowledge, including a walk to Ford Castle which is minutes away. The views out of the b&b were beautiful with a touch of snow and the local estate was stunning. With the b&b being part of a cafe, it was great to have our morning breakfast so easily accessible - breakfast was plentiful and fresh! The room itself was perfect, very well stocked with complementary extras, clean with extremely comfortable beds. Our 3 year old commented that her favourite part of her weekend was ‘the sleeping’! Can’t wait to return.

Our stay at Ford B&B
Very good. Warm, very clean and slept very well. Big choice of breakfast, and plenty of it! Run by a Husband and Wife couple, Graham and Jenny, who were very welcoming and made us feel more like friends than guests. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Perfect stay and unbelievable weather! X

Exceptional in all respects
Set in a very beautiful location, this B&B is exceptional in all respects. The hosts Jenny and Graham are very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were lovely and the room was quiet and immaculate. The bathroom was extremely spacious, with the option of having either a bath or shower. The bed was very comfortable and the only drawback to a fantastic stay was that the bedroom curtains let quite a lot of light in from around 4:30 am, as the room was East facing. However, this was a minor issue that was far outweighed and compensated for by the peaceful tranquillity and general ambience of the property.
There are lovely walks round the nearby castle and church. The local village of Etal is also worth a visit and Bamburgh and Holy Island are only a short drive away through the beautiful surrounding countryside.

A gem of a place.
Ford B&B is a gem of a place in idyllic surroundings. Owners Jennifer & Graham are lovely people & the breakfast is great. I would recommend it to anyone & we will certainly be returning.

A fantastic, friendly B&B run by Jen & Graham. Clean spacious rooms & great cooked breakfast, including delicious loose leaf tea. The village & surrounding areas are beautiful. Lots to see & do - Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle. This area is a cyclist’s heaven as lovely undulating roads which are largely traffic free.

Really clean & well maintained, wonderful breakfasts. Graham & Jenny can’t do enough for you. It’s an idyllic place with great pubs & restaurants. Ideal location for Berwick, Bamburgh, Holy Island & the Cheviots. Great for cycling & walking. Can’t wait for my next visit

The hosts were very friendly and polite. The room we stayed in was large and the room was spotless. The breakfast consisted of porridge, yogurts, cereal, pastries and a cooked breakfast. They also run the Post Office,Tea Room and a little shop. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning.
