You can't get much closer to the Ocean then this private home located at 1569 East Ashley, Folly Beach SC. "Making Waves" is the perfect choice for anyone looking for spectacular sunrises, dolphin viewing off the deck, toes in the sand just mere steps off the private deck and a tranquil stretch of beach to explore. All new windows installed in March of 2018. Ocean side windows are now floor to ceiling! Views are breathtaking! "Making Waves" is a spacious and open home with spectacular views! The living area, kitchen and dining room are all ocean facing....making you feel as if you are on the beach even when in the home. This home is three bedrooms and two full bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 8 guests. Eight guests at any time is the maximum capacity for this home. We are dog friendly. Only 1 dog per reservation allowed. Pet fee is $25 per day. BEWARE OF SCAMS: ONLY RESERVE THIS HOME DIRECTLY THROUGH REPUTABLE VACATION RENTAL PLATFORMS. Great location and nice place Enjoyed visiting Folly Beach - close to Charleston and a laid back vibe in town. House is right on the beach and was terrific for walking and watching the waves.

Family Time Together Our time at "Making Waves" was amazing! The house is all on one floor and the open floor plan is great for family time. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The best part of the stay was the location of the home. It is about 3 miles from the downtown area and is very quiet and relaxing. The beach is just steps away and was perfect for walking or relaxing. Our family has met in Folly Beach for many years and this is absolutely one of our favorite homes!

Beautiful property Very peaceful The view is stunning, the house is clean and modern, it has all that you need to be comfortable and for cooking and beach fun. The beds are comfortable, there is plenty of room for friends and family.

JC The house was clean, well-maintained and had a large kitchen with all essential cookware and plates/utensils. The location couldn't be better - right off the beach with a nice deck, and the living space made you feel you were on the beach with the large, floor-to-ceiling windows along the wall. I cant recommend this place enough, you'll do no better in Folly.

Can’t wait for next year!!! We absolutely loved the place!! The pictures are everything this place is and more. Being right on the ocean with all the amenities for my family. Dianne was quick to respond when texting. This beach house was an amazing vacation for my family!!

Incredible Views - Dolphins too! Wowza, “Making Waves” has an incredible view and you will not get any closer to the beach. That alone is worth every penny. The kids loved the beach and spent some time every day riding those waves. It’s a short drive to many places in the area. We loved going to the Charleston Market, Fleets Landing, Salt Water Cowboys, The Folly Pier/Restaurant, and we attended the 4th of July blasts at Patriots Point. This is our second time to visit the area, and we love every minute of it. If your looking for yummy pizza we had Woody’s deliver twice during our stay and it was yummy!

Excellent experience Great location steps from the beach. Best kitchen we have ever stayed in with new appliances, great layout and very well equipped. New washer and dryer were the quietest we have ever experienced.
