"The price here was reasonable. Our room was quite small, but modern and clean, and had what we needed, including a small fridge, safe, internet, etc. The location is good, the breakfast was okay. They have a "kitchen" area in the hotel where you can heat up some water to make coffee, etc. A lot of the hotels in Florianopolis seem to have a check in time of 15:00 and check out time of 11:00, which I do not like. I think it's quite inconvenient for the customer. I wanted to mention about the tour to city of Balneário Camboriú, which is called the Dubai of Brasil. The information about the tour is given to you at the hotel reception but the tour itself seems to be run by a different company. Anyways, the city is definitely very nice and worth a visit. The problem with the "omnibus" tour is that they will pick up clients from multiple other locations prior to the departure to the final destination. To make the long story short, approximately 8 to 9 hours of transportation will be involved with passage of about 4 hours in Balneário Camboriú. I was quite tired and irritated by the end of the excursion. Consider taking the "private" tour where only Favareto hotel clients will be picked up and then taken to the final destination. Unfortunately, the private tour was full during the day that we wanted to take the excursion."
