B&B la Terrazza Sul Duomo

Absolutely loved the location....couldn't have been better and at a relatively reasonable cost given the location and view of the Duomo from the room. It is also in close walking distance to the Pizza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. Before getting there, we were advised that, due to air conditioning issues, they moved us from our deluxe room to a superior room with view of Duomo. We were fortunate to get this beautiful room that was very clean and with beautiful gold trim and purple colors. The twin beds we requested were comfortable. We liked the newness of the bathroom, esp the nice wide ledge where we could put our stuff. Breakfast was included, but we only opted to use it 2 out of the 3 days we stayed there. Since the dining room was under renovation, Alejandra was kind enough to run for groceries and provide us with everything we asked for the night before (juices, water bottles, bananas, yogurts, bread, meat, cheese). Loved that we could see the Duomo clearly from the rooftop. Note: The room door could only open partially due to what I believe is a defect with the door (should be easy fix by trimming it down so the bottom doesn run into the floor). Bigger folks may not get through the door too well.

This is the most gorgeous property with beautiful rooms and one of a kind terrace with the view of Duomo Florence. It’s situated at the absolute best location! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. She was very clear with instructions to check-in and helped us settle in easily. They also had a breakfast spread and the staff went above and beyond to even pack us breakfast to-go on the day our check out since we had to leave early in the day! Overall, a very smooth, friendly and gorgeous stay. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful roof top Very convenient location

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in Florence with our friends on a couples getaway and stayed in the apartment. It was very well kept and had great air conditioning throughout which was a HUGE savior in the heat of August. The beds were very comfortable though you probably won't be sleeping much if you want to get out and explore. Which by the way, this location is PERFECT for that. In the heart of the city, it's centrally located to make it easy to get to all the major things you'll want to do in Florence, and the views from the terrace are incredible. It truly made the experience unforgettable. Carol at the front desk was extremely helpful and even allowed us to check in over the lunch hour when we arrived when they would have otherwise been closed (thank you again!). They even contacted us after checkout to let us know of some belongings we had left behind and options to get them back. Overall they were very attentive and kind. We would absolutely stay here again when we come back. The only con I would say (if i HAD to name one thing) was that the terrace for the apartment was said to be private, but it really wasn't --other people still had access to it at all hours. It was only a minor inconvenience at times when we wanted the privacy, and no one made any major disturbance, but given the terrace has direct access to one of the apartment bedrooms we had to be sure the bedroom terrace door was locked at all times to ensure no one wandered in while we were away.
