We rented the entire property (4 ensuite rooms) plus common areas such as the large entrance hall, kitchen, sitting room and enclosed breakfast patio for 4 nights to use as a base to explore Florence on foot. Maria Cristina met us at the property, showed us how everything worked and provided us with detailed local information to supplement the large number of books on Florence, Tuscany and the Renaissance to be found in the property. We definitely intend to stay again at Le Stanze di Santa Croce when we next visit Florence.
