I love to lodge away from turistic places so I can walk and get a better feeling of the city and the location of the hotel was perfect for that!

Very clean, great service, friendly staff, AMAZING breakfast and good location, close to public transportation.

Was not near downtown Florence, so would not suit someone wanting to be near the main attractions, museums etc. but neighborhood was safe and walkable with great gelato and dining options within short walk. We even were able to walk to the train station 35 ish minutes away with luggage for our departure. Property would not suit someone who could not do stairs.

HOTEL DALMAZIA Nossa estadia foi em familia com 4 pessoas, sendo 3 adultos e uma jovem de 13 anos. O Hotel oferece o básico de hospedagem, limpo com conforto. Recomendo pela ótima localização.

Everything was fine - but for 2* overprized... Firenze is really worth a visit - a very pleasant city. About the hotel: the hotel is located 6 or 7 stops by tram (ticket costs 1.50) from the main train station, the area looks friendly, there is a large supermarket only about 200 meters away, but there are also a few other late night shops. The hotel itself is 2* and for a 2* it's actually pleasant (but more on that later). The reception is in the basement (-1), the lady there was friendly. You then go up a flight of stairs (no elevator) to the room - but the staircase looks also friendly and freshly painted. The room itself seemed gloomy, because it didn't have its own window, but the room next to it has a window. This "next room" also houses huge boilers, which I have never seen anywhere else before in a Hotel. Then follows another room: the bathroom. Sounds a bit weird, and it was. The bathroom was bright, clean and had a window. Otherwise there was a wardrobe, a desk, 3 beds in our double room, a fridge and AC. The AC is really important because the room itself had - as I wrote - no window. You shouldn't open the windows in the boiler room or in the bathroom, because then you attract mosquitoes - but we were able to kill them. What was really positive (and I'm very, very picky): everything was absolutely clean. You could eat off the floor. Also the bedsheets and the towels were clean and there was a good smell also in the staircase (a bit artificial, but good).

Bom Fui muito bem atendida pelos funcionários desde a chegada à partida de Florença. O quarto é amplo e confortável, o que me incomodou foi o tamanho minúsculo do box e a conexão de internet, que só funcionou no 1º dos 4 dias em que passei lá.

Descaso com o hóspede Chegamos no hotel cansadas para fazer o checkin e a atendente disse que nao tinha quarto disponivel ( embora tivessemos feito a reserva e o pagamento) . Nos mandaram para outro hotel, ao qual tivemos que ir andando uns 15 munutos e ao chegar la alem de termos nos deparado com um hotel horrivel, tambem nao tinha vaga. Voltamos ao hotel Dalmazia e entao arrumaram um apartamento. Quanto ao apartamento nao podemos reclamar estava bem limpo e compativel com um hotel 2 estrelas. O problema foi o descaso no checkin porque eles tinham um apartamento e mesmo assim disse que nao tinha e nos mandou para um hotel horrivel que tivemos que ir a pe carrgando mala e quando chegou ainda nao tinha vaga tambem. Apesar de distante do centro histórico, tem metrô muito proximo. Outra falha é o horario do cafe da manha que so comeca 08 hs.

Billigt Litet familjärt hotell nära till spårvagnen. Tyvärr ganska lyhört och små rum. Helt ok frukost.

Experience The stay was amazing! It felt very authentic, and organized. It is at an amazing location right near the duomo. There is AC, which is very fortunate in these hot summer months! There is also a refrigerator in the room which is very helpful! Highly recommend.

Mécontents 3 jours à Florence en famille. La ville est magnifique. L’hôtel …. Bof. Nous sommes une famille de trois personnes au petit déjeuner il nous était proposé qu’une table de deux… 😳Nous avons dû déjeuner, ma fille et moi sur une table et mon épouse sur une autre seule dans notre dos !!!! Dans la chambre des escaliers très escarpés, j’en ai encore mal au genou! une première série de quatre marches pour aller dans la salle de bain puis une autre série de trois marches pour aller jusqu’au toilettes… ! Notre chambre donnait sur une rue desservie par le tramway qui ne cesse de circuler toute la nuit… ! Penser bien à demander une chambre silencieuse car il existe des chambre dans cet hôtel donnant sur l’autre côté! certes le tramway au pied de l’hôtel est un confort si l’on veut se rendre en ville mais le bruit la nuit… !
