Ibis Budget Flensburg City

Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich und die Lage ist wirklich gut. ABER: Die Betten sind eine absolute Zumutung. Die Matratzen sind für das Unterstell aus kompletten Metall (Kein Lattenrost) nicht geeignet. Rücken- und Schulterschmerzen vom Feinsten. Zudem wurde die Buchung storniert, ohne uns zu im Vorfeld zu informieren. Preisgestaltung auch sehr merkwürdig. Zuvor über ALL Mitglied gebucht und angeblich „den günstigsten“ Preis erhalten. Vor Ort dann gesehen, dass der Preis über 20% unter dem ALL Angebot lag. Dieses Hotel kommt trotz der Lage nie wieder für uns in Frage!

Ich würde das Hotel nicht noch einmal wählen. Außer der guten Lage ist hier nichts positives zu berichten gewesen. Der Check-in ging schnell, war aber nur über einen Automaten möglich. Die (kleinen) Zimmer sind zwar sauber aber nicht wirklich schön. Es gibt auch keine Ablagemöglichkeiten für Koffer/Kleidung. Auch gibt es kein separates Badezimmer. Lediglich die Toilette ist abgetrennt. Die Dusche und das Waschbecken sind in das Zimmer integriert. Wobei das Waschbecken sehr klein war. Die Betten waren auch eher unbequem. Für eine Nacht haben wir 86 EUR gezahlt. Da war ich schon für weniger Geld in wesentlich besseren Hotels. Preis/Leistung passt hier nicht.

Betritt man die Eingangshalle denkt man, man ist in einem Parkhaus gelandet. Ungepflegt, aber der elektronische Check-in funktionierte zumindest ohne Probleme. Die Lage ist spitze, weil man alles zu Fuß in kurzer Zeit erreicht, das war es dann aber auch schon. Die Zimmer haben so gerade Standard Jugendherberge, Dusche und Waschbecken hatte ich IM Zimmer, zumindest hatte die Toilette eine Tür. Der Fernseher hat die Größe eines Laptops und ist vom Bett aus kaum zu erkennen. Da es nur eine unbequemen Sitzhocker gibt, kommt man auch nicht näher dran. Die Betten sind klasse. Zur Straße hin ist es mit Blick auf den ZOB sehr laut, auch, weil abends die Cruiser im Auto mit aufgedrehter Anlage ihre Runden drehen. Ab 22 Uhr ist aber alles ruhig. Kommt noch das „Frühstück“. Trockene Brötchen, die man kaum beißen kann. Freut man sich auf ein frisch gekochtes Ei ( mehr Eier gibt es nicht) bekommt man ein eiskaltes aus dem Kühlschrank, ich habe vorsorglich gefragt, ob das gekocht ist - war es wohl mal. Die Auswahl ist mehr als übersichtlich, auch hier: Jugendherberge bietet mehr. Über den Kaffee möchte ich nichts sagen, außer: Bohne durchgeschossen. Budget schön und gut, aber für mich maximal 2 Sterne und die auch nur für die Lage. Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit. Der Preis von aktuell € 96,00 incl. Frühstück ist nicht gerechtfertigt, weil das Frühstück nix taugt. Für € 45,00 wäre es o.k..Ich empfehle eine der vielen Alternativen in direkter Umgebung.

Das schlechteste Hotel was ich in den letzten 10 Jahren besucht habe ! Null Service ! Rezeption fast nie besetzt ! Einchecken ist erst ab 15.00 über Automat möglich, sonst ist erst ab 17.00 ein Notdienst da !! Dusche ist mitten im Raum, Einstellungen der Temperatur ist so gut wie unmöglich, ich habe mir Morgens den Rücken verbrannt ! Bei Beschwerde an der Rezeption wurde mir gesagt, das kann passieren wenn mehr als 2 - 3 Personen gleichzeitig im Hotel duschen !!!!

Slecht en de dure prijs totaal niet waard. Riool Stank in de douchecabine. Aankomst hal een beton kelder gevoel. Geen reception maar pas op de 3 verdieping. Matrassen slecht samengevalken in het midden. Hoor kloak geluid van de bovenburen, niet lekker te horen. Nooit meer hier logeren.

Gutes günstiges City-Hotel für kleine Budgets. Es hat was es braucht, Zimmer sind gross und sauber. Es steht sehr zentral in der Stadt, Busbahnhof vor der Tür, Shoppingmeile hinter dem Haus, direkter Bus zum Bahnhof ebenso direkter Bus nach Dänemark. Etwas lärmige Strasse vor dem Hotel. Ideal für Durchreisende, für längeren Urlaub nicht geeignet.

The hotel is very central situated in the middle of Flensburg. It's very basic. No facilities like bar. Just an automat with cold beverage. The room are very clean but very basic. The beds are nice, just as hard as I want them. Breakfast buffet are nice. Everything you can expect in a budget hotel like this. It's absolutely value for the money.

As most hotels IBIS Budget Flensburg has its pro`s and con´s. I have stayed at several IBIS, and IBS Budget hotels in Europe, and I am sorry to say IBIS Budget Flensburg has most con´s... As a member of their loyalty program for many years, I had expected more. Lest start with the positive. Central location, spotless clean room, nice breakfast, and friendly guy in reception to whom we shoved our corona certificate (sic!), and recived the guest registration form, on the first evening. So to the negative. Reception does not open until 17.00 hrs so you have to check in thru a kiosk to get your room number and the code to the door. Both are only displayed on the screen so you have to write it down yourself. If you arrive early there are nowhere to leave your luggage since there is no one there to help you out. Not very convenient if you arrive by bus or train and have luggage... Room is rather small with a small (rock hard) double bed. Very small toilet with basinet in the room. So what really is bad. When you check in at the kiosk you are charged only for your first night (not possible to pay for your full stay), you are then informed you have to register at reception to present your covid certificate, no later then the next morning. As we did, se above. At breakfast we went to the receptione once more to deliver the guest registration form. After breakfast we went out and did not return until noon when the reception was closed again. And guess what, our door code was not working. Luckily there was an emergency button to get in contact with a real person, so we did and explaned the situation. We where then told the room code did not work because we had not followed the instructions and registerd our corona certificate at reception the former day and therefore they had not been able to charge us for the next night! As mentioned above that was not true. We where told we could get the same room back! (Hello who is supposed to be the professional part here?) But since the reception was closed we had to check in once more at the check in kiosk. It is OK to be cost efficient, but this has gone to far...

We have stayed at Ibis hotels before for just a night or two, so we are aware that it is not luxurious, but this one is just to depressing. The rooms are totally bare and without any decorations and the public areas too. From the outside it looks depressing too and it really doesn't lighten up your mood. When in Flensburg to experience the christmas marked it is a real contrast coming home to this hotel. It's cheap and a okay bed to sleep in but absolutely nothing more than that.
