Olle Hotel

I spent four lovely days in the Olle Cottage. It was my third visit. The Olle team is welcoming, courteous & extremely helpful. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The location is fantastic! Just off the cutest downtown, where Darlin’s Diner and other eateries are located. It is 5 minutes away from the Flatonia Golf Course and a 5-minute walk from the Flatonia Public Library. And the cats add to the hotel’s charm. I look forward to staying at the Olle again soon!

Very clean hotel ,had a nice lobby, great hospitality, great service . very nice view in the dining area. Cute kitchen enjoy my stay. The location is relatively close to a diner and movie theater, along with a nice little ice cream shop nearby.

I was very disappointed in our stay, as we had stayed here many years ago and I had fond memories. While the bedroom area and bed were really nice and comfortable, the shower/tub was impossible to use. I see in another review where this had been noted previously, so why it hasn't been fixed is beyond me. The shower head wasn't attached to anything to hold it up, so to use it, you had to hold it in one hand while trying to soap yourself with the other. BUT, the cord on the shower head was too short to do this without having to bend way over. In frustration, I decided I'd just take a bath, but the plug to stop up the water wasn't very good, and the tub wouldn't fill, and you could only fill it with the shower head, which barely sprayed any water. Despite the bueaty of the building and the comfortable bed, I wouldn't stay here again.

This was an average nights stay at a B&B. At arrival found out that there was an extra fee for credit card payments, I was never told over the phone or we would have brought a check. We were never told the stairs were so steep but I guess I should have expected it. The air conditioning unit was not working as well as it should. Room was nice, unlike the shower that had a shower head but not attached to the wall properly. There was a rusty nail where the shower head was hanging on. If you wanted to shower you would have to hold the shower head in one hand and use other hand to get soap and lather. We found out during our check in that the Hotel was in the final steps of being sold. I chose the B&B based on location and small business with personal customer service. With no owner on location there was NO personal customer service only staff cleaning. Disappointed and regret staying.

We were very late arriving due to a delayed flight, but the owner waited for us and even made sure the local restaurant stayed open for us to have a much needed glass of (excellent) wine. The breakfast venue, Darlins, served good hot food and had lovely friendly service. Our room was charming and very comfortable. I wished we were staying longer

This is an awesome historic hotel. So quaint, it was like stepping back in time but they made sure you had all the modern conveniences you could want. It was immaculately clean and the staff was really friendly making sure I knew what was going on in the community that I might like. Fresh coffee and home made banana bread plus drinks in the fridge that were free to take. The front porch had rockers to rest on and even mosquito spray was supplied.I would definitely recommend this over a large chain hotel/motel any time and would stay there again.
