Comfort Inn Flagstaff Lucky Lane I-40

We have stayed at this hotel several times, whenever we have to drive to Flagstaff and for northern road trips. It is clean, easily accessible from the freeway, and the reception/ desk people are always friendly and efficient. Felicia was outstanding. We got there unexpectedly early from driving south from Utah, and they got a room ready for us and allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated after a long drive! They did not charge us the early check in fee as we are gold club members. I booked a 2 queen room because it had a desk chair and an arm chair, which we appreciate when traveling. We like to relax and watch tv in the evenings after a long drive. Many hotels only have one chair in their rooms. We are partially Disabled with arthritis and appreciate having grab/ safety bars in the bathtub/shower, which this bathroom had. The only negative I would mention is that the toilet was the old small, low kind, which are really hard to get up and down on. Perhaps their accessible rooms have higher toilets, I will check next time. The breakfasts here are always very good. Today they served veggie or cheese Omlettes with sausage links, in addition to cereal, bagels, toast, waffles, fruit, and yogurt. This hotel is really good value for the money! We will always stay her when traveling through Flagstaff!

We spent 3 nights here, unplanned, very reasonably priced. Stayed on the middle floor with a balcony overlooking the I40 and Super 7 truck stop opposite. As I said, unplanned but very interesting. Very pleasant staff, good access to everywhere, including Meteor Crater and Winslow. Our only criticism is that FedEx appear to use the hotel as their truck stop, parking up at 5am onwards each morning with reversing beepers blaring. Otherwise excellent and that didn't deter from giving 5 stars.

So pleasantly surprised. I spent the night at this hotel in August driving solo across country. I've stayed at several hotels in Flagstaff over the years and this by far was my best experience. The front desk gal was super nice and accommodating (and quick). And also recognized me as a Choice Privileges member. The hotel was super clean, and felt totally safe. I love the convenience to the interstate for easy in and out. The room was great, clean and comfortable. In the morning the breakfast was really good, the dining area was very clean and maintained. I will definitely use this hotel again for my AZ stop for the night in the future.

Looking good for its age, this Comfort Inn is conveniently located to I 40 is in the safe place and is well-kept. Check in at 3:30 in the afternoon was contacted by a young lady, I’m sorry I don’t remember your name, but she was more than receptive, professional and efficient. The hotel lobby was very clean and even had homemade chocolate chip cookies for the customers. The elevator took me up to the third floor room, by the way I requested top floor And got it. I had a one king. The room overall was small but adequate. Everything wasn’t working order. From the first floor to the third floor the place was clean. It smell good and that meant a lot to me. I can tolerate smaller rooms if it’s presented clean and well-maintained. Were there floss, sure because the hotel is an older one, but that’s nothing. That would stop me from returning. Should I be passing that way again. The Lucky Ln., Comfort is a winner and gives you a brief respite from the highway and will give you a good night sleep.and, for a reasonable cost. The free daily breakfast is simple, but good and provides adequate choice.

I find that the Comfort Inns vary considerably. The one in Santa Fe was excellent. The rooms were better, big bathroom with large sink all inside one room. Better breakfast. Free bottled water. This one in flagstaff has none if this. Disappointing. Even the toilet paper is rough. There is no microwave in my room.

No complaints, the room was clean, staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. I would stay there again. The location is a bit difficult to access from the city but easy access to the Interstate. The beds were very comfortable and after a long day of road tripping, that is a plus.

Typical Indian run hotel with the most awful carpet cleaning smell everywhere, made worse by people eating food in the very small reception area along with their dog. We had a very tiny room with little space for 2 queen beds and luggage. The walls were paper thin with door to next room allowing us to hear all conversations in the next room. If you like 3rd class hotels this is for you but we were happy to leave the next morning. I noticed many of the allegedly good reviews were anonymous which indicates to me they were seeded by the owner. I also noted the owner responses to most of the negative reviews which were many, was obnoxious and highly unprofessional.

We stayed here for two nights and got exactly what we expected and payed for: a clean and modern room, free parking, a standard breakfast for this category of hotel and friendly staff. We also used the laundry room, which was clean, cheap and functioning. We didn't use pool or gym room, but both looked fine, even if the gym room was really small with only three machines. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Restaurants are available in the surrounding and can be walked to (typically American with some obstacles on the way, but that's not the hotels fault).

This place is a complete dump, top to bottom. The rates were cheap for fall color season in Flag, but there is a reason. The bed had a slight urine smell and all the furniture was either worn or dirty or both. The bath mat, a rare find in most hotels. was cracked, thin and should have been thrown away long ago. The air conditioner was so noisy that we had to shut it off to sleep. We travel alot and enjoy a good bargain when one is offered, but this was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. We have stayed at the other Comfort Inn in Flagstaff and it has been lovely. We will NEVER return to this place, ever. Buyer beware.
