Love the team, Victoria and Jupiter namely. But some of the staff at the restaurant even remembered I liked sparkling water and I only stayed for 4 nights mid April. Love the island. The view is good everywhere, even the gym. Its huge in comparison to some other resorts and you get to bike around, or you can request a buggy ride. Overall, very reasonable price, stayed HB and already gained weight, cannot imagine FB. Villa is HUGE, AC was always cold, always kept clean, always had clean towels, and they provide bug repellent, do use it. The deck was lovely and had a sun umbrella, I miss sunbathing there with an ice coffee. I did scratch my toes going for a dip during low tide cause I was too lazy to wear my water shoes. The gym was big, had clean cold towels and drinks and equipment was new. I don't know what more to ask for. Maybe more fish? but you can go on those snorkeling excursions, we went on the dolphin excursion and saw both spinner and bottlehead dolphins. They have a blue hole nearby, do learn to free dive before attempting to enter, I regret not learning to free dive properly cause it's not something you can learn quickly, no one but the guide in our group could get in. Just book Amilla. I did island hop to another resort, and I was disappointed in everything but their coral reef. Do your research but I'm pretty sure the other resort's service cannot beat Amilla. They are worth every penny.

Les vélos à disposition des adultes et enfants avec notre nom sur le panier nous rend unique !la jungle en vélo restera un des moments forts du séjour ! Les amoureux de plongée et snorkelling y trouveront leur bonheur. Noël à été un moment magique. Merci à toute l'équipe et à Bella notre majordome !

From start to finish our holiday at Amilla was nothing short of amazing. Upon landing in Male we were whisked away to the Amilla lounge to wait (apx 1 hour) for our sea plane. We could help ourselves to cold drinks and snacks. I had time for a quick shower to freshen up after the flight. From the sea plane we were greeted by the team including the manager, the chef, and Hajar, our lovely butler for the week, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I'm terrible with names and I don't want to forget anyone so I'm not going to mention anyone individually (besides Hajar). I can say that every staff member was outstanding, nothing was ever too much trouble. We went on the All inclusive package which really did include everything on the food menus. I ate an abundance of lobster & prawns over the week (I don't eat meat). Whilst we enjoyed the delicious food at all of the restaurants, Feeling Koi was without doubt our favourite, not only for the food but also the setting - being able to watch the nursing sharks swim under the jetty while having dinner was an experience in itself. My son is coeliac (can't eat gluten) and we were bowled over at how well he was catered for - a deciding factor in choosing the resort was the vast gluten free menus I'd seen online beforehand. The chef's were very on it too - we ordered GF chicken tacos but the chef came running out apologising because the bbq sauce was may contain (at least they checked), they still adapted the dish for him and he enjoyed his lunch. He could choose waffles or pancakes for breakfast to go with his daily dragon fruit. He absolutely loved being able to have tempura at the Japanese restaurant. I had hesitated in booking the Maldives with the kids (13&10) for fear of them getting bored with snorkelling. We could have easily stayed longer. There is plenty to keep the whole family entertained. We did all snorkel every day - some by ourselves around the reef and some guided. Unfortunately the Manta rays were not around when we were there, but we did swim with a turtle or two and plenty of sharks! The amount of colourful fish was unreal. There was plenty to do on land too; my son took part in the daily football academy, my daughter played tennis and enjoyed the art classes. We stayed 4 nights in a spacious 2 bed beach villa with pool. Nothing to fault here (except the mosquitoes). Our last 3 nights were in a reef villa - although this was 1 bedroom it was perfectly adequate for 2 adults plus 2 kids/teens. I enjoyed listening to the sound of the sea each night. A massive thank you to all the staff, who work hard while constantly smiling. Of course a very special thank you to Hajar - you made everything perfect and thank you for providing the beach dinner and the floating breakfast experience on our last morning. Will we return... absolutely yes!

We chose Amilla Fushi for our holiday after a careful search for a particularly vegan-friendly property within the Marriott or Hilton portfolio. Thanks to Small Luxury Hotels joining the Hilton Honors program, as Diamond members, we opted for this wonderful destination, also drawn by the vegan menu available in every restaurant of the hotel. The island is simply stunning, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. Despite the resort being fully booked, we always felt as though we were on a private island, thanks to the impeccable organization and the generous sense of privacy it offers. The activity program is rich and well-designed, far exceeding our expectations. This was our fourth trip to the Maldives, always staying at hotels of a similar standard, and this time we were particularly impressed by the size of our room: a spacious and well-designed overwater villa, complete with a living room and private pool. The only aspect that did not fully meet our expectations was the quality of the gastronomic offering. While it was convenient and pleasant to always have access to a vegan menu, the quality of the dishes, especially at dinner, was rather basic and occasionally repetitive. The presentation, flavors, portions, and menu variety could all have been more refined. Perhaps the demand for this type of menu isn’t yet very high, but there is definitely room for improvement. In contrast, breakfast was excellent: varied, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients, and truly delightful flavors. I particularly appreciated the effort to avoid food waste by not overstocking displays—an approach that reflects the resort’s commitment to sustainability. This mindful approach to preserving the environment is a key factor for me when choosing accommodations, especially in a delicate and precious destination like the Maldives. Lastly, we cannot thank the staff enough for their dedication to making our stay unforgettable. Despite a few minor mishaps at the restaurants, it was clear that everyone was committed to delivering an extraordinary experience. A special thanks to our butler Bella, the on-island doctor, the housekeeping team (outstanding!), and Mr. Amazing from the Food & Beverage department, who catered to our every need with professionalism and empathy. It’s people like them who will undoubtedly bring us back. Thank you, Amilla, for this wonderful vacation!

Our 4th time to Amilla and it’s just as good every time. This time we stayed in a water villa and it was our first time travelling with our 4 month old baby. We asked the team to pre order all the UK baby formula and sterilizing equipment a couple of months before and it was waiting for us when we got there. Hasid (and Gondo) were amazing at making the trip easy and stress free from start to finish. The food was just as good as I remember in every restaurant. Looking forward to returning next year!

Glorious place and impeccable service Stunning location, attentive staff who just avoid in going too far. Excellently maintained facilities and as a vegan, the range of choice of food was exceptional. Room was beautiful (though I caught my foot on an ill-maintained wood plank by my pool causing a large splinter). So much about our trip was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended

Beautiful Island with a lot of nature and really amazing staff, that seem to like working there, it feels like a community. Everyone was extremely nice. Special mention goes to Latheef, who was a great butler with genuine care and respect for privacy. The cook Naf made excellent Maldivian food. The international food is quite good as well, good Japanese food in Feeling Koi and the Greek food at Tessera is also really good. The tennis trainer Vlad is an extraordinary teacher with attention to detail. The new yoga teacher was as good of a teacher as Pallavi. Great gym and spa with amazing masseurs, especially Ann. The rooms and general amenities are okay, sometimes quite run down considering it’s a 5star resort; but apparently it will be renovated in 2025. The New Year’s Eve party was really cool and professional, a lot of fun and good disco music! On the other days, the organisation of entertainment and music sometimes could have been better, when there were 3 different types of music playing during dinner through the speakers at the restaurant, bar and show-stage all in earshot; also I don’t feel like there is a need to decorate with plastic decoration, the natural plant decorations at arrival and departure are the most beautiful. All in all, fun and relaxing holiday with really friendly atmosphere and good privacy!!

We had an incredible time at Amilla Maldives. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home—it’s clear they work together like one big family. A special thanks to Latheef, our butler, who was outstanding. He took care of every detail, always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the tennis sessions with Vlad, who is an excellent coach. He made the lessons fun and tailored them to our level, which we really appreciated. The food was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options, and the service was impeccable. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The only critique I have is that this experience has probably ruined every vacation after. Amilla was magical and from my extensive travel experiences this is probably the benchmark for what service excellence looks like. From the butler service by Buddy to the food, the attention to detail, the diving and snorkeling, the villas, it was all excellent. Nothing was too much effort, no was not an option and guest satisfaction was clearly not just a checkbox exercise but an ethos that very staff member took pride in. Well done Amilla and team. We will be back.

たくさん悩んでアミラに決めました。 ポイントはリーフが良いこと、レストランの選択肢が多くカジュアルにチョイスできそうなこと、部屋が中も外も広いこと、です。 ドロップオフが近く、お部屋から簡単にアクセスでき、シュノーケリングには最高のリゾートです☺️！ スタッフさんたちも感じよく、すれ違うたびに皆さん笑顔で挨拶してくれます。 バトラーさんとはwhat appを使って簡単にコミュニケーションがとれ、レスポンスも早く、便利でした。 清掃は毎日2回入り、完璧にこなしてくれ、気持ちよく過ごせました😌🤍ベッドメイキングもかわいかった…！！ バトラーのBella、清掃のYousuf miah、ありがとうございました🥹🤍 After much consideration, I decided on Amira. The key points for my choice were the beautiful reef, the many casual dining options available, and the spaciousness of both the inside and outside of the rooms. The drop-off point is close, allowing for easy access from the room, and it's a perfect resort for snorkeling! The staff members are friendly, and they greet us with smiles every time we pass by. Communication with the butler via WhatsApp was easy, and their responses were quick, which was very convenient. The cleaning service came twice a day and did a perfect job, allowing us to enjoy our stay comfortably. The bed making was adorable as well! Special thanks Bella, our butler, and Yousuf Miah from housekeeping.

Hmm I thought long and hard about what was missing in Amilla for me. It could be the fact that we have been to so many islands in the Maldives now , we have our favourites. I did familiarise myself with the unusual architecture for the Maldives before the trip, I knew all 3 restaurants were all in one location behind the pool so similar vibe. I think I expected better snorkelling, better food . The island is beautiful, wonderful jungle, the privacy is great. Im not sure why it felt the food wasn't up to standard? May be because out last 3 visits were in Six Senses? I dont know. It wasn't bad, I just expected better food. Not in terms of choice(choice is limited but im good with that) but quality. The hotel we visited after had better food and was half the price. The egg dishes in the morning were not great (I have tried everything from white omlettes to scrambled) . The pastries croissants etc were not great. Coffee was fantastic though. The staff felt overworked and always busy... Could be just the wrong time, not sure. However I want to mention the kids club. My little one had a fantastic time . The facility is awesome. Big thanks to the girls working there. The seaplane platform is parked right outside, very close to the water villa jetty , neighbouring resorts sending boats to pick up their guests... Questionable solution. I was told Amilla has no say in it and Manta air decided on the location . This was the first island out of more that 20 where I felt like I was staying at the airport smelling fuel and counting boats. After 4 days we asked to be moved and the Reef Villas I can definitely recommend . They are fantastic. Snorkelling isnt the best (not Dusit , not Kihavah and certainly not Ayada) but it's not bad and it's right outside! Initially we picked one of the Sunset villas (thinking there was actually a sandy lagoon there ). Theres dead coral everywhere. No lagoon, no snorkelling form those villas for 100 metres its all covered in dead coral bits, thus looks grey, not pretty. Would I recommend this island? Yes, absolutely, for anyone looking for extra square metres and for someone who is not keen on "wooden huts" so prevalent in other resorts))). Lots of concrete here , it's contemporary. The island is very family friendly as well, at the same time for anyone who wants privacy it's very much suitable too. The villas are massive and I can see even the basic one easily accommodating a family of 5! I should mention the Aircon!!!!! It's silent and efficient ! People who have travelled a lot know it is not always easy to get your villa temperature down to 24 C in some resorts. As for the food , it's very subjective . Japanese restaurant was good, not Nobu , but good enough to eat there most nights. (apart from deserts ).
