Getting into the hotel the security checked all of our bags and coolers and got mad at my kids for not having any IDs we had to walk through the gaming floor to check into the hotel and the staff there was nice in the daytime but at night time were very very rude and yelled at my kids when we got back from a concert that they couldn't be out of our rooms and we tried asking for food options the front desk workers said they wouldn't know because they are hotel workers not food workers the rooms had garbage left in there and the bath tub was so gross the water came up in the tub with hair and dirt when you turned the water on we tried to ask for more pillows and blankets the front desk workers told us no we tried to brush off the negative vibes all around there and went to go gamble and tried to cash out our tickets and ended up getting yelled at by the cashier and her bad attitude made me not care to gamble anymore I just went back to my room and fell asleep each night we came back it was hard to get back into our hotel room with the security guards trying to ID my kids it will be my first and last time going to this place it is not kid friendly and the smoke smell is super strong and we felt unwanted

Wow, what a dismal place. The hotel staff and security are not happy campers, miserable in fact. The vibe was way off…..lack of signage for specific entry for hotel for high security check with luggage review. It’s unfortunate, because the suite I had was great. I was shamed on three occasions for using a third party booking….. Reminded as a repeat offender as to no smoking or damages in the room with $300 deposit. May be a record for this 75% world traveller. I have stayed at many casino/hotels nationwide…..complete different horrible experience. Stay elsewhere…..

Several things were disappointing about my recent stay. First, the front desk was not friendly or welcoming. The hotel didn’t have bottled z my water available, the coffee stand wasn’t open in the morning, the pool was closed, among other things. Was told coffee was available in the ******, and had to walk to the other side of the ****** for it. For the cost to stay here, I would expect more.

It was a hassle getting in with luggage (security check while in a smoky environment). Had to walk thru smoking section to get to registration desk and restaurants. Some ***** thought a fan on the registration counter would help but it just blew smoke in our faces. Desk clerk was clueless and despite our having a reservation, check in was prolonged. We requested the bill be split between two cards and she took both cards but at check out everything was on one card. It wasn’t worth the hassle so we left vowing never to stay here again. The room was nice but, at nearly $200, nothing special. Why aren’t handicapped rooms situated closer to elevators? Not every disabled person is in a wheelchair. Neither room key worked so I had to return to the lobby. A kind maid provided a chair for my disabled friend while she awaited my return and apologized for the inconvenience which was greatly appreciated.

Strictly about Cafe Puyalapabs: I have eaten there twice, both times with my sister. The first time I ordered coconut chicken kabobs. No coconut. At all. The mashed potatoes were good. The second time I ordered Spicy Garlic Chicken. This after standing around watching others get seated, AFTER we were told our table was ready, and AFTER I checked in, then had to check in again. There is nothing I loathe more than watching four employees fuss over one guest. They were doing that, as well. I guess I'm invisible. Back to the food: I specifically said that I did not want fried drumettes as the server implied. I pointed out a dish at another table, and explained I wanted small pieces of white meat - Crispy Garlic Chicken, not fried drumettes. I don't find "drumettes edible. Well, you guessed it, he brought out the drumettes a full 10 minutes after my sister's food arrived. He brought me sweet and sour sauce, because my entree "has no sauce". Spicy Garlic Chicken is all about the sauce. I paid around $34 for a roll with butter and trying to get meat off the drumettes. I don't think chicken legs are food, that's why I did not order them.

The room felt new. Very clean. Parking was free and plentiful. The staff very helpful. The ****** only has a very small section that is smoke free. The buffet was awesome! Especially if you love shrimp and clams!

My husband and I stopped this morning at the ****** in Fife....wished I wouldn't have. We used to come here alot and always had a good time but haven't been there in about a year. You must give your drivers license to the attendant who scans it and looks at it, not sure why but she moves you along to stand in front of a camera and then the gentleman attendant says you are good to go. I had a players card but it wouldn't work and I didn't want to take the time to stand in line to get a new one. I just played a few machines, I had two tickets to cash out and FOUR of the machines that I went to cash out on were not working. I finally found one in the non-smoking side. You are not able to get a soft drink or a cup of coffee anymore so we went to the bar and my husband asked for water, the bartender scoops one out and my husband gave it to me. My husband then asked if he could have a bottle of water also and the bartender said, "Oh, you want two bottles of water." Whatever......the staff are so rude there. The only iupside to our visit is that the women's restroom was super clean and the attendants in there were working hard at cleaning. I told my husband I wanted out and wouldn't return, then we had to navigate the doorways or at least try to find the door to get out. We will continue to patronize the Red Wind, where you can get something to drink, find a nice place to play our dollars and have a good time. Too bad because my favorite place used to be Emerald Queen Fife but not anymore.

We used to go down there for a few hours to gamble and have fun, we don't feel safe in there anymore in the fife. one they have a lot of riff Raff people in there, and it never fails that we have people begging us for money all the time in there, or cigarettes. We have started going to the muckleshoots or BJ's, because they have machines that when you walk in you go through the metal detectors and then they take your driver's license and it goes into a machine and comes up on the computer to see if you have a valid driver's license, and BJ's also scans your your driver's license, and both BJ's and the muckleshoots are working very hard at keeping the riff Raff people out of the ******, and we feel a lot safer being there. Which means a lot. My 92-year-old father-in-law last year had his car broke in to in the parking garage.. and the other thing is the muckleshoots and BJ's has way more handicap parking stalls for older people, which means a lot when you have a lot of disabled and older people that gambled. And the emerald Queen in Tacoma when they first opened had more handicap than they used to and now they've taken away some. Which is insane, when a lot of their business during the afternoons during the week are disabled in elderly people retired. All I can say it's their loss, at least BJ's and muckleshoot have made things a lot safer for people, and they have a lot of handicap parking and both places are a lot of fun to gamble because of it. And the last thing about emerald Queen both places if you have a problem with the machine or you can't get your ticket out or whatever the reason it takes them absolutely forever to get somebody there to fix it, which is insane. At BJ's and the muckleshoots they have people right there to help you right away. All I can say they're doing way better job than the emerald queen.
