Amigos Para Sempre - Guesthouse

Not enough superlatives to describe the accommodation and customer service received whilst staying at this incredible value for money hotel. Our room (room 5) was fantastic for our month long stay and offered superb sea views, alongside great facilities, which included a kitchen area, dining area, lage balcony and a very comfortable bed and spacious en-suite bathroom! Esther was a joy to deal with and Uschi and Loyoe (sorry if I have spelled their names wrong)were both helpful and professional during our stay. The room was impeccable when we arrived and maintained weekly to a high standard. The hotel is easy to find and is in a great location for exploring the whole of the Algarve and we look forward to staying again in the future.

Hach.... mein Aufenthalt im bezaubernden kleinen Hotel von Esther war einfach wundervoll und hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen! Schon der erste Kontakt und vorherige Abstimmung war herzlich und mehr als zuvorkommend. Bei der Ankunft wurde ich herzlich von Esther persönlich begrüßt, was sofort eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre schuf. Ich fühlte mich vom ersten Moment an Pudel-wohl und am genau richtigen Ort für mich für die kommende Woche. Der individuelle Service in diesem charmanten Hotel ist außergewöhnlich. Esther, Uschi und Louise haben wirklich ein Händchen dafür, sich um ihre Gäste zu kümmern. Sie gaben mir wertvolle Tipps zu lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants und sorgte stets dafür, dass ich mich wie zu Hause fühlte. Jeder Wunsch wurde mir praktisch von den Augen abgelesen, und ich fühlte mich durchgehend bestens betreut. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel war makellos. Mein Zimmer war nicht nur geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch blitzsauber und gepflegt. Es war deutlich, dass Esther großen Wert auf Hygiene und Ordnung legt, was mir ein sehr gutes Gefühl gab. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist hervorragend durchdacht. Es fehlte auch hier an nichts. Mein Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt: ein bequemes großes Bett, moderne Sanitäranlagen, und sogar eine kleine Teeküche. Besonders die liebevollen Details, wie frisch gepflückte Blumen und kleine Aufmerksamkeiten und die Herzlichkeit möcht ich erwähnen.

My only complaint was that we weren’t told there would be construction around the pool, so it was a bit noisy. The owners have done an amazing job on the renovation and went out of their way to give us fantastic service! Would definitely recommend and stay here again. It is a bit far from town (40 min walk) but fine if you have a car.

We had a fabulous 2 nights at this beautiful guesthouse. It was faultless - very helpful, friendly owner & staff. The whole house is immaculately clean & the rooms are modern & so comfortable too. If you opt to have breakfast at the property it is paid for separately & is taken either by the pool or in the fabulous kitchen area overlooking the pool. Excellent choices & prices - we opted for fruit salad, granola & yoghurt €8 - large portions served beautifully. We would definitely stay again when in Ferragudo.

Faro Airport to Amigos Para Sempre via Uber takes around 40 minutes and should cost around 50€. The Airport taxis charge 93€. The hotel operates a keybox system which is very handy for late arrivals such as ourselves. The reception room is a beautiful space and very welcoming for the weary traveller, complete with piano. Following the short steps up we reached the modern ensuite room again tastefully decorated with fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and small cakes. The owners and staff are very hard working and will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is very comfortable. For a very reasonable additional charge the breakfast is served fresh and can be eaten outside next to the large communal swimming pool, i can recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice. The room itself had a spacious balcony and there is also a beautiful roof terrace which is ideal to sit on and watch the sunset while drinking some Sangria. There is also an Indian fusion piano bar/restaurant within walking distance. All other amenities are a short uber ride away (5€). A bus stop is also situated opposite the hotel but check the timetable first. The area is very quiet during the evening so ideal for those seeking relaxation. If you like your seafood I can recommend Restaurante Portarade situated in the old town (5 minutes by uber). If you're looking for a beach setting and live music then I would head to Club Nau, I would recommend reserving a table in advance. It's safe to say the Amigos Para Sempre has us hooked and we will be revisiting with the rest of our family very soon! A big shout out to Ester, JJ, Lois and Ushi.😃

Lovely place to visit. Rooms are clean and well provisioned, staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble. Esther is very knowledgeable about the area and can give advice on what to do, where to go etc. Would definitely recommend and if we go back to Ferragudo we would definitely stay there again.
