Wingate by Wyndham St Louis-Fenton Route 66

Very clean. Very quiet. Excellent staff. Close to hospital (has hospital rates) and restaurants. Free breakfast. Popcorn at night. Easy access. Very accommodating. Air conditioning worked great during these hot summer days. Overall great place to stay.

The mattresses looked to be brand new. The outdoor pool was lovely and large and warm and had a deep end. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly; jumped in to help when we needed more bowls at breakfast. It was just very good value for the inexpensive price.

Very quiet, exceptionally clean, updated room. Convenient to Starbucks and restaurants. The outside of the motel is not attractive, so we were unsure, but it was a delightful place to stay on the way home from Chicago. The reviews from Tripadvisor sent us there and we plan on staying there again for our next trip in that direction.

Fantastic place to stay! Regular hotel expectations: Clean rooms, nice location, decent breakfast (a bit limited, very bread heavy) quiet, great air temperature control in the rooms. The staff were WONDERFUL, very attentive, personable, and kind.

Loved this hotel. Clean, easy to access from the highway and close to dinner options. Breakfast area was clean , breads and fruit were fresh and there were a variety of options. Check in staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and will stay here again.

The main thing we were concerned about was that the room was clean, which it was and the beds were comfortable. Also, it was convenient to the expressway. These were the best things about this hotel. We only stayed for one night on our way west. We were surprised at check in with a charge of $50 as a deposit on the room! All I can say is, I have not had that experience with Holiday Inn Express properties. The furnishings in the room were tired and dated, which didn't bother us because it was clean The "breakfast" was a bit of a disappointment. They did have a waffle machine, three kinds of coffee, cereals, bagels, mini muffins, apple and orange juices, I guess my disappointment was no meat of any kind and there was only one peeled hard boiled egg to be had. Again the eating area was clean. I would not recommend this particular property.
