Hôtel Lodge la Pirogue Mahambo

Un jardin extraordinaire, des bungalows charmants. Le restaurant est parfait. Une adresse précieuse avant d’embarquer pour Ste Marie. Mention particulière au personnel gentil, attentif. Dans le jardin de belles géodes et des gentils Sifakas.

We have spent just one night in a standard bungalow. We wanted to change the rooms but apparently they were all booked which was kind of hard to believe because there were just 5 other families staying at hotel. Maybe the bungalow was charming when it was newly built, but now it is just old and falling apart. There are holes everywhere and cockroaches in the room plus some other animals. At night you could here the “eating” noises coming from all corners of the room, my guess would be termites. The food was nothing special but it was ok for one meal. To be fair we’ve seen a lot on our travels and we are not picky at all but we couldn’t have stayed here another night.

Endroit charmant en bord de plage où l on peut apprécier la vie des pecheurs . Personnel accueillant et souriant, les repas sont de qualité mais parfois peu copieux. Jardin magnifique avec 2 amusants makis en liberté. Certains bungalows un peu vétustes mais les plus luxueux sont magnifiques avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous recommandons!

There are two lemurs kept in a very small cage by reception, with nowhere near the room they need to move around freely and one tiny tree. Otherwise the staff were friendly and the beach front was nice. There are hot showers though ours didn’t get warm until the day we left. But the poor lemurs dominated the experience for me.

Bungalow sulla spiaggia a 10 metri dal mare, ma la struttura ha bisogno di essere fortemente rimodernata, compreso il bagno L’ottimo ristorante non compensa la carenza della struttura, Wi-Fi solo nei pressi della reception e non va, corrente elettrica solo poche ore al giorno

Une belle vue, WIFI mais que à la réception, et une accueille et service incroyable ! Vu que c’est au bord de la mer la nuit, on attends la mer agiter et c’est trop satisfaisant et agréable à entendre !
