Phoenix Shuiyun Zhijian Qingshe Guesthouse

What a beautiful stay nestled along the riverside!  The hotel is strategically located next to the snow bridge within enough distance for the best view of the location.  The room was the perfect size for me as a solo traveller, but could fit one more person.  It is hidden within the same building as a hanfu store, so you can get also get dressed in traditional Hunan province wear as well!  There are no elevators in the hotel, but it is a short set of stairs to reach my room on the top floor.  The room was fitted with all the essential amenities and a cute egg chair in the corner.  The best part was the service!  Big props to the female staff who carried my heavy suitcase for me up the stairs - in high heels nonetheless!  The owner was very responsive, accommodating and friendly!  He picked me up from the train station and arranged a taxi to drive me back, which saved a lot of hassle for me.  I would stay here again the next time I return to Fenghuang :)
