"We booked a short break of just five nights and were delighted with Hotel Yannis on our first trip to Corfu. My expectations were not overly high having read some of the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived quite late into the evening and check-in was quick and efficient. We booked a sea view room and were happy with the standard of the room. The air-con worked just fine and there was a bug screen on the patio door. We had no issues with bugs. The shower cubicle is very small but we coped. I can see how others may struggle. There is a lack of anywhere to put toiletries in the bathroom but for a short stay it wasn't an issue. There is plenty of storage in the room and a safe. Our two main issues were 1) the bed was incredibly hard (every time I turned over it woke me up!) and we found it difficult to get a good nights sleep 2) the sun comes streaming into the room as it rises - a black out curtain would be a good addition. That said, the room was spotlessly clean as were all the areas of the hotel. We found all of the staff to be very pleasant, polite and smiley! The pool area is wonderful and there is no dawn scramble to secure a lounger. It was very chilled and we never had an issue getting somewhere to sit. It's a great pool with lovely views of the mountains and out to sea. Being high up you are away from the hustle and bustle of the town which we preferred. The surrounding garden areas are lovely too with a giant chess set and pool table. Food and drink options during the day are very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was probably about average with a reasonable choice of all of the usual things you would expect. The orange juice and omelettes were particularly good. Again, everywhere was very clean. The walk down to the town is quite steep and the walk back up to the hotel is worth noting (especially if your transfer minibus drops you at the foot of the hill!) but it is a pretty short walk until you are amongst the shops, bars and restaurants. In spite of the sleeping issues we would definitely return to experience the chilled peaceful atmosphere, wonderful views and hospitality of this cute family run hotel."

"The hotel location is not very scenic. The big swimming pool was not open when we checked in at the end of April (why not make sure all facilities are available before allowing us to check in?). There is only a small swimming pool outside the gym :(, which is heated. The room I booked has a jetted tub. The water temperature was very hot on the first day, which was fine. When I wanted to use it on the second night, I found that it was room temperature and I couldn't take a bath at all. I communicated with the reception and he said he couldn't do anything about it. The temperature is controlled by the hotel and guests cannot adjust it. Pressing the temperature increase button didn't work :(. In addition, no cleaning staff came to tidy up the room during the day on the second day. The food, service and environment of the restaurant are all good."

"Älä usko negatiivisia arvosteluja. Tämä hotelli on yksi pysäköinti. Puhdas huoneet.. erittäin halpa ruoka ja juomat, jotka ovat saatavilla milloin tahansa ja ilmainen shuttle bussiteen vie sinut molemmille rannoilla. Mitä muuta voit pyytää? Huoneet ovat pieniä mutta hyvin puhtaita, meillä on jopa pieni jääkaappi. suihku on super puhdas. Parveke on uusi huonekalu. Kyllä, on paljon vaiheita tässä ominaisuudessa, mutta se lisää viehätys ja hyvä harjoittelu. Uima-allasalue on suuri, suuri meren näkymät ja super puhdas. Kauniit alueet syödä tai juoda koko päivän. Suosikki alue ovat alustat pitkin kallio. Se on hyvin ainutlaatuinen. Voit katsella veneet kulkevat.. Albania etäisyydellä ja nauttia meren tuuli. On baari, joka avataan klo 10 palvelee erittäin hyvä lyönti ja runsaasti juomia. Ole varovainen käyttäessään ruostettuja metalli portaita mennä valtamerelle. Parasta ottaa aikaa. Älä ole sankari kuten minä ja ruohon kulma. Nopeaan aikaan on paljon vaihtoehtoja ja runsaasti ruokaa. Rakastan Spinach samosas. Kahvi on hyvä ja henkilöstö on loistava. rehellisesti sanottuna ruoka on hyvin hyvä. Jogurtti, hunaja.. ja pähkinät ovat herkullisia. tuoreet hedelmät.. valinta maitoja.. gluteeniton leipä. Luin hieman baarin henkilöstöstä, kun vieraita - rehellisesti - puhdistuslaitoksista - keittiöstä - baarin henkilöstöön - kaikki ovat erittäin ystävällisiä - erittäin luotettavia ja erittäin hyödyllisiä, mukaan lukien linja-autonkuljettaja. Kesän loma, tämä hotelli on täytyy yrittää. Et kadu sitä! Kiitos Maria vastaanotto vastaa kysymyksiä ja tarjoavat niin paljon tietoa. He siivosivat huoneemme joka päivä, uima-allas on avoinna suurimman osan päivästä ilman tiukkoja aikarajoituksia ja he antavat sinulle pyyhkeitä 10 euron pantilla pyyhettä kohden, jotka palautetaan sinulle palatessasi. Aamiainen on monipuolinen, ja tarjolla on kaikkea tuoretta. Sydämelliset kiitokset kaikkien työntekijöiden osoittamasta huolenpidosta, ammattitaidosta ja ystävällisyydestä. Minulla ei ole kiinnostusta tehdä niin, mutta minun on sanottava, että tämä majoituspaikka on hinta-laatusuhteeltaan paras, mitä olen koskaan kokenut kaikkien matkustamisvuosieni aikana. On myös kätevää, että bussipysäkki on vain muutaman metrin päässä hotellista. "We stayed in Ikos Odisia in end of August and it was our second experience with Ikos /previously we stayed in Ikos Olivia, Chalkidiki. As we are couple we are always prepared that if hotel with all inclusive, there is risk of really many families with children. And it was a case of Ikos Odisia as well. But the good think is they have beach for adults only next to their lovely Ouzo restaurant and it is lovely. Ok the entrance to sea with some stones and there are areas with grass but you can always find the most comfortable path to enter. We booked DBL Superior room with garden view and balcony that was located in upper Garden village where was a pool for adult in the centre. The room was in perfect size for couple, very good size of bathroom, balcony with great view. And this village above main building. We do not have any problem to walk through resort so no need to use the buggies and wait 20-30 minutes as some guests noticed. To be honest even with kids some guests might walk instead of waiting. We really enjoyed the time and as we mostly stayed in adults parts, it was a good and calm stay. Of course there are huge families in breakfast but also there is quiet zone for adults. Just would be good to keep it really only for adults. Because if you allow take tables to families with children the others want the same. I would highlight only small issues. When we arrived late evening, the welcome was not really that I would expected. We were informed that it is to late to share info about resort and they will tell next day. But none contacted us to tell more. So we missed such info that if you ask 24hour in advance, they may prepare for lunch special meals such as calamari, whole fish etc instead of buffet lunch. Then, and it is issue in most hotels, the housekeeping not provided regularly cotton pads, and cotton buds. We experienced 4 ala carte dinners in Ouzo, Fresco, Anaya and Oliva. We loved Ouzo for buffet lunch and the dinner was ok. Just when I compared the restaurants with those in Ikos Olivia, I would say these in Odisia do not make such impression for me. I also would appreciate and although the hotel with all inclusive, if the management pay more attention on some rules regarding dressing of the guests. Some looks in same dress they used for all day. Fitness is great, just with problem of watter leaking from airconditions so the floor might be slippery. They have pilates performers included so going for this lesson was an extra benefit. Final conclusion we enjoyed the stay and the hotel is on our list for future holidays."

"After a very bad start in Kavos - we decide to look for alternative accommodation on Corfu . We located Villa Yannis & booked on the spot for that night . Taxi from Kavos ( another story 😟) but arrived & immediately fell in love with Villa Yannis . A lovely , quiet out of the way haven . As there were 3 of us - we got apartment 12 , perfect , ground level & so close to the pool ( have bad hip ) The air conditioning was excellent . The WiFi was fantastic . Over all a class experience . We were welcomed daily to the pool by Sebastian who was in hand from 8am to 8pm - serving drinks & food by the pool . The villa is quite rural so we did rent a car for 1 day ( my heart couldn’t extend to 2 as it’s the opposite side of the road to IRL) Elena very quickly & efficiently organised the car to be dropped of for us to the villa . (86€ for the day but well worth it ) . The pool was fantastic & the whole place was spotless . Short walk to Dassia ( 20 min ) but a hilly walk & not for the faint hearted , the roads are narrow & bendy . Very close to the villa - a nice grocery store FEAKES . Two very nice restaurants lemeiri ( y was class ) & 60 Needles - very lovely food . Average €30pp including wine . The only draw back was the walk back to Villa Yannis (5mins) was quite dark"

"Olin asunnossa 13 päivää, kaksi aikuista ja kaksi lasta. Yleensä rakastimme sitä. Suuret kiitos omasta johtajamme, Effie, joka oli aina kosketuksissa ja auttoi ratkaisemaan kaikki esiin tulleet kysymykset. Valitsimme asunnon, koska se oli lähellä Bahia Mare. Rakastamme tätä rantabaari ja olemme tulleet siellä neljä vuotta. Kartta osoittaa sen toiseksi rakennuksen, mutta Google sanoo se on kolmas. Itse asiassa se oli viides rakennus, joka oli hieman pettymys. Vähemmän: asunto oli pieni meille, se on täydellinen kahdelle aikuiselle ja ehkä yksi lapsi. Ei ole syötävä pöytä sisällä. Syöminen parvekkeella oli mukava, mutta vatsat ja moskiirit olivat joskus hyvin ärsyttäviä. Suihku ei toiminut oikein, mieheni puhdisti sen joka kolmas päivä. Sänkylinssit muuttuivat harvoin, ehkä vain kerran tai kaksi kertaa 13 päivän aikana. Ei puhdistuspalvelua. Olimme vauvan kanssa, joten me mokasimme lattiaa itse, mutta mop oli kauheassa kunnossa. Plus: Kaunis balkoni näkymä, ja fani balkonilla on iso plus. Keittiö on täynnä hyödyllisiä pieniä kohteita, mutta se tuntuu, että ne ostettiin vieraille, koska mitään ei sovi. Pyyhkeet on muutettu kolme kertaa viikossa, kuten roskakorin poistaminen."
