Booked through ******* for best rate. This isn’t a chain hotel. The desk people super nice. Rooms clean and there wasn’t any issues. We were on first floor away from pool and such so it was quiet. We didn’t use but pool and hot tub looked nice. Lots of restaurants around. Breakfast typical hotel breakfast no frills just something to eat before getting on the road. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

I hate to give bad reviews, but this place needs a good cleaning. The pool area has so much potential, but it is terribly dirty. There were two hot tubs, but one was taped off and not working. By the second day the other hot tub was out of order. The pool area floor needs a really good scrubbing. But along with that, there was food and garbage on the floor that just needed to be picked up. We arrived on a Sunday and were told that the weekend had been busy. I assumed the next morning things would be cleaned up, but nothing had been done. That’s just being lazy & not showing pride in your place of business. As far as the room goes, the bathroom and bed linens were clean. Walls need to be washed. Also upon arriving, the outside entry of the hotel had a bench that was covered in garbage. This place isn’t well cared for.

We appreciated that there was a room available when we decided to make a last minute stop. The pool was fine. Small, but great for keeping eyes on kids. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. At first glance, things seemed ok. However, in the pool area there was garbage on the ground including bandaids, water bottle caps, and a hot chocolate pack. The water fountain is completely rusted. The pullout couch mattress was disgusting and full of stains, so we didn’t use it. This hotel could be great with a little more attention.

Upon arriving to our room there was a chunk of dried up food on the lamp base right beside the bed, in plain view. The remove controls were scattered and the one remote was very sticky and gross. There were also pieces of scotch tape on top of the couch, and a chunk of black something + hair on shower wall, something that could have been easily been removed. Also upon arriving to our room tv didn’t work. Guy working at front desk came up to out and did fix the one tv and was very pleasantly but also seemed like he was getting a bit frustrated so I told him not to worry about fixing the 2nd tv. The morning of our departure my husband was going to grab a quick breakfast but he happened to see a staff open a bag of scrambled eggs and then proceeded to stir them with a pair of scissors.. he told my husband that they used these scissors for everything but that they were sterilized.. ?? What?? My husband lost his appetite, so we just left.. Quite disappointed overall in our stay. The pillows look like they were incredibly old and very flat.. Room itself was fairly nice except it obviously could have been much cleaner. For the $$ we spent we definitely expected much higher standards. I did also email Expressway Fargo shortly after our stay and expressed my dissatisfaction. They didn’t even reply. We’ve liked this place in the past but we won’t be back.

On day of check in asked if we could have a main floor due to mobility issues and was assured we could but when we actually checked in there were Jon. Also asked if there was a hot tub and was told yes there is. Later in the evening was going to get ice and chatting with another traveller who was on his way to hot tub. Well it was closed. Asked front desk clerk who said there was an issue with it and the GM was supposed to come in but it was his birthday so he wasn’t going to but hopefully it would be working the next day. Asked why we were told there was a hot tub and no mention that it wasn’t working. We would have gone somewhere else if we had know . Next morning there were no eggs left at breakfast even though there was an hour left. Guests asked multiple times and were told it was “too late”. Guess the attendant had a change of heart because she put a bowl of eggs in microwave and then into the warmer so managed to get some. ICE COLD. Came back that evening after shopping and room key didn’t work. Had to get new keys. On checkout the next morning was told we had checked out the day before. Clearly we had not. Turns out when we checked in the clerk only charged one night. At any point someone could have been checked into our room while we were out and taken our belongings or tried to get in the room while we were in it. Front desk staff were not professional. Will lot be back again.

Stayed here for one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with a variety of pillows to choose from. I found one that was just perfect. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly. We had no issues and I would stay here again. We ate at Luckys 13 next door within only a feet from the hotel and it was really good.

My extended family have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years and we have recommended it to many people, as was the case with this visit. We booked 2 rooms for the 2 families. Day 1 - We were informed that the hot tub and pool were out of service upon checking in. We both checked into our rooms and each family requested their respective rooms receive daily cleaning, as per the posting on your website. The front desk said that a note would be put on our room file to ensure that they are cleaned. Upon entering our rooms, they were immaculate. The hallways and elevators, however, were filthy and had dirt, crushed potato chips and M&M’s on the floor. Day 2 - When we returned to our rooms, about 3:00 pm, we saw the cleaning carts in the hallway and vacuums were on the hallway floor and our rooms still had not been cleaned. We assumed the staff had not finished the cleanup. We left for dinner and when we returned later, about 7:00 pm, we noticed that the hallways and elevator still had not been vacuumed and that the same mess of dirt, crushed chips and M&M’s were still in their place. We entered our rooms and the beds were not made, the garbage had not been removed and no fresh towels or new toiletries were provided. The pool area was open, so we ended up swapping out our used towels for fresh one - poolside. We, again, approached the front desk to request the rooms be cleaned the next day. Day 3 - When we left in the morning, we mentioned to the front desk that we still wanted our rooms tended to and to make sure the housekeeping staff were notified that cleanup was requested for both rooms. The front desk indicated that they would put in the request, and they stated that, yes, there was a notice on our room file. We returned to our room about 2:00 pm and still no cleanup was done. About to go down yet again to request the cleaning of our rooms we saw and spoke with housekeeping, in the hallway. We took out our own garbage and mentioned that we would like the two rooms tended to. They indicated that it would be done. Our friends even went so far as to pull out the empty Kleenex box to indicate that a new box of tissues was needed. Their room was tidied however they did not replace the tissue and no fresh toiletries were provided. Later we decided to go and sit in the hot tub to relax. The chlorine was so strong that after 5 minutes our eyes were burning so bad we had to leave. Back in the room we noticed that our skin had a white flaky film on it. Too much chemical were added to the hot tub and there was no notice posted warning guests. We had suggested this hotel to our friends after the exceptional service we’ve had in the past and after this visit I am now extremely embarrassed to have suggested we stay at your hotel. I understand between COVID and being short staff things are not the same however after registering the first ‘complaint’ I would have thought that the housekeeping would have been done. We were a little early for check in and they let us in our room early which we appreciated very much! Our tv remote didn't work so they upgraded us to a whirlpool suite which was awesome. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

We came just to get away for a night! The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable! Best part is my son enjoyed the pool area with the water slide and the water tree thing! I did feel a lot if dirt or something at the bottom of the pool in the corner. Overall a good time and I would book again!
