Scandic Lugnet

We stayed one night on our way to visit the Carl Larsson museum and to the dala horse factory. Our family of 5 stayed in a family room and a teen room. When you book through Scandic you can add a "teen room" if you have a child in that age range (17 or under) for about $70 USD. The breakfast here was amazing. Lots of hot and cold choices, including Swedish pancakes! Highly recommend!

Lovely staff, newly renovated fantastic rooms! There where a playroom for the kids at we sat down for coffe. The kids even got a drinkticket when we arkivet and the drinks where beautiful decorated with candy. Will definetly come back!

Nice but expensive room, the hotel is located 2 km outside the city center. Nice surroundings. Good breakfast, but in the meantime crowdy and noisy.

We stayed just one night and loved it. There is so much to do if you are an active person. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant in the evening, as well as the breakfast buffet in the morning.

We stayed here for just one night and loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided local insight and recommendations. Our kids were given a ticket each for mocktails, so we all went down to the restaurant/bar for drinks and food in the evening (mission accomplished ). The following morning, we enjoyed the well-stocked breakfast buffet. The room was a bit hot. There is lots to do in the area if are active. It seems like they have a club or organization for every sport, lots of hike and bike trails.

The hotel does not have AC so our room and the others in the party were around 25 degrees in May, you live here in June-Aug so expect 28+ in the room, we also tested having the window open and closed with the same result, there was a table fan we found in the cupboard the next night which made it "a little" better. Otherwise, we are satisfied overall!

Desk staff is incredibly helpful and courteous with all kinds of things. All spaces were very clean and inviting, comfortable. Rooms were quiet - barely could hear someone above me but not frequently. The handicap rooms are VERY well designed and accessible. Breakfast was so good and a relaxing atmosphere for enjoying a long breakfast with friends. Within walking to grocery and also to downtown - even can walk to train if you had to, but easy bus and taxi if you need it. Closest hotel to ski venue. So enjoyed our stay!

Great location near all the activitycenters. Beautiful nature and surrondings. The room was just renovated with high standard. Lovely staff. We really enjoyed our stay and can highley recommened this hotel if you’re wisiting Falun.
