Chelsea House

Finally got sitting done to write a feedback for my staying. I have to say it is a nice few days trip with Chelsea house. The breakfast is great, and the location was very close to the coast. That was easy to walk to the beach I like how my room cleaned up and how nicely quite the place is. Thanks for everyone for helping prepare the food and all welcome feeling service. Thanks Sharon, and the rest. Wish yours the best summer.

Once again a very comfortable stay (our 10th I think) while down to visit family. So glad that we were attracted to the retro chic description and the singers names for the rooms back in 2018-we’ve tried Amy Winehouse, Rod Stewart, Bruce Springsteen and Dusty Springfield. All great and with a fridge stocking milk, water and tiffin😋Extra big fluffy towels in the en-suite is another bonus! Great tasty breakfasts to set us up for the day and a baked treat to take with us (needed on Sunday as we battled the elements)! Best wishes to Sharon & Nigel for the changes that are happening over the winter😊

Sehr nette Vermieter, freundlicher Empfang und ein gutes Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut eingerichtet. Parkplätze sind an der Straße vorhanden. Die Lage zum Strand ist ausgezeichnet und sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Honesty Bar dürfte gerne eine umfangreichere Auswahl enthalten.

Lovely place and wonderful hosts. It's the attention to detail that makes Chelsea House so great. Sharon and Nigel are welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and there was even a welcome pack for our dog. Fresh milk in the fridge and sweet treats every day from Sharon. The breakfast was amazing and there's even an honesty bar.

We loved everything about our stay here, the hosts were just lovely, couldn’t do enough for you. Loved the breakfasts every morning, which set us up for the day and the little baked gifts daily were a delight. The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean, bed made every day. The little terrace overlooking the sea and facing the sun was just stunning. Loved it 😊

We had a great 2 night stay in the Amy Winehouse room . We were booked into the Jimi Hendrix room but Sharon soon spotted that my husband was a little bit too tall for the slopping ceiling in there and kindly offered us a transfer to the Amy Winehouse room which was perfect, spotlessly clean and comfortable with a sea view and was equipped with everything you need with the added bonus of a fridge which held the milk and a delicious Tiffin welcome treat , followed every morning by further home made treats. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable & enjoyable.

A fabulous place and Sharon and Nigel made us feel so welcome! The location is great as walking distance to a sandy beach, where we went for a morning swim. The David Bowie room was the best hotel room I have ever stayed in and beats much more expensive places like SOHO House New York in terms of furniture, decor and views. Breakfast was extremely impressive as we were offered fresh fruit or granola and then a cooked option. My partner went for the full English and I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg. Both were delicious and perfectly portion sized. When we checked out we were given some freshly made banana break to take with us..... I highly recommend The Chelsea House.

We stayed in this beautiful B&B for a week and it was a wonderful time: A very warm welcome by Sharon and Nigel and their special attention to every aspect continued throughout our stay. We could also observe that their staff was happy working with them. The house is decorated with special pieces that add to the relaxed atmosphere, our room was very comfortable and lovely. Breakfast was delicious with great choices and Sharon treated all their guest with a home baked item nicely packed for the day. We recommend this B&B wholeheartedly.

Sehr schönes großes Zimmer, hervorragendes Frühstück, sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service in einem sehr schönen und stylisch toll ausgestatteten Haus. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt bei Sharon und Nigel und ihrem freundlichem Personal. Danke!
