Skip the hassle
Our check-in experience was disappointing. Check in is between 3 pm and 10 pm. When we arrived at 4 pm nobody was at the front desk. I called their number and a lady eventually came to the desk. She said they were not quite ready to check us in yet. She asked us to return in 30 min. Having plans we left temporarily. We returned to town around 9:30 pm and called in advance to give them notice we would be checking in. Nobody answered the phone. I called multiple times. When we arrived nobody was at the front desk, yet again. I used the phone hanging outside the office and dialed the number listed for assistance. Nobody answered that either. Finally a man came out of one of the rooms and asked if we needed help. I explained the situation and he called a motel staff to help us. A woman eventually came to the front desk to check us in. She apologized for the inconvenience and waived our pet fees. When we got to the room we discovered no towels or habd soap in the bathroom. One of the two beds was only partially made and appeared slept in. Too tired to bother, we did not contact the front desk yet again.
The rest of the stay was fine. We tried to go into the front office to ask for towels and soap, but it was locked despite the hours been advertised on the window as 10 am to 10 pm. I called and asked about towels. The second night of our stay our child was sick and she brought us clean linens. Checkout was me dropping the key in the box, as nobody was in the office, yet again.
