Historic home close to downtown Fairbanks!!

Great home with plenty of room My husband and I and 5 seniors traveling to Alaska. One day before I was to leave , found out I had to have emergency surgery. Couldn’t go on my Alaskan trip of a lifetime. Friends went and said home was very nice, clean and comfortable. Lots of space. Host was very responsive.

Anniversary celebration We traveled to Fairbanks with two other couples - one of which was celebrating their 40th anniversary. The house was centrally located in Fairbanks in a nice and seemingly safe area. It had everything we needed for our stay with the exception of a large pot for cooking chili (but we made it work by browning everything in a skillet on the stove, then transferring it to a casserole dish in the oven to simmer). The house is definitely still in the process of being remodeled - there were a few tools and spare parts lying around. The biggest issue we had was that the heat and hot water quit working twice while we were there. Since we were there over the New Year's holiday, the host was unable to find anyone to make a fuel delivery, but she was able get it working again fairly quickly by adding a little fuel each time. She did give us a small refund to compensate for the trouble. Overall, the property was very comfortable and roomy for six adults. We enjoyed coffee together in the comfortable living room in the mornings, and playing cards around the dining table in the evenings.

Perfect for our family of 6 The house was in a great location, close to everything we needed. The house was much bigger than expected, which was wonderful. Plenty of room to spread out or gather for dinner in the kitchen/ dining room. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The bathrooms were large and having laundry in the house was great. The host was quick to reply to any questions or concerns. We would definitely stay again someday. Thank you for a great stay!

Good location for group Easy directions and access to the property. Close to shopping and restaurants. Good space for 5 adults, the front room worked well for presentations and team discussions. The kitchen was large enough for all to gather and prepare food. The three bathrooms accommodated us easily. The off street parking could fit 3 vehicles easily if the carport is used. Overall the property worked fine for our stay.
