"Great place to stay in Horta, just a few minute’s drive or 10 minutes’ walk to the town center, and great views across the bay to the Monte. Access to the building and room was through door codes, so easy check-in. Our room had a nice sea/mountain view, plenty of windows, was clean and comfortable. Next to our room was the very nice communal kitchen for preparing and eating meals – really a great asset. The AC worked well, as did the Wifi internet. We really enjoyed are stay here and would definitely stay here again."

"Hotel a short distance on foot from the historic center of Horta, structured "amphitheatrically" so that all the rooms face the internal garden, with swimming pool, and have a view of the island of Pico. The rooms are large, comfortable, and have a small balcony. Laminated flooring (no carpet). The lighting in the room is poor, which makes it a little sad in the evening. Few wall sockets to charge mobile phones and PCs at the same time. or other electronic devices. Free Wifi network available to guests, but without security password. The common room for breakfast/dinner is large and bright, equipped with a rich buffet. The collection of used plates by some members of the dining room staff was a little too "pressing", as they literally "pulled away" the dishes on which the last mouthful of food was being consumed... Courteous reception staff, who also speaks English. Overall, a hotel in which we enjoyed our stay and which we recommend."
