Wonderful return trip to The Globe. We love coming back to the great rooms, great location, friendly and efficient service and lovely breakfast. We know that we will return again and again. Thank you for a relaxing stay in a hotel and a town that we love!

We had our wedding reception here 35 years ago when the hotel was in private ownership and had the most wonderful day, so when thinking of what to do for our 35th anniversary we thought let’s go back to where it all began The Globe which is now owned by St Austell Brewery, we booked the same room 3 that we spent our wedding night in and dinner with friends and have to say we couldn’t have chosen a better way to celebrate our day, everything about the stay was excellent lovely staff very friendly, excellent food &wine! and lovely room with great facilities. The lovely gesture of a card & bag of goodies was a great touch! Many thanks to all at the Globe for making our day special

Very nice stay in this charming place in the hart of Topsham. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. Rooms were confortable, on the first floor above the restaurant. Only drawback was the smell in the bedrooms: lack of fresh air? Problem with the carpet?

A lovely relaxed stay in the heart of Topsham! Very comfortable accommodation, great nights’ sleep and excellent full English breakfast. We also had a family dinner here, great service & food, especially that one of the family has many allergies and their meal was made off-menu without any problems. Very much appreciated! Looking forward to our next visit!

Spacious comfortable clean room. Very helpful staff . Perfect central location in a very pretty village with a choice of good pubs a short stroll away. Parking worked out fine but you need to move your car by 0800 in Topsham . Good breakfast from 0730

I love staying in Topsham and this is the best place to stay in my opinion. We were 3 people this time, myself my partner and mum-in-law. She is in her 80s so got a step free room and we went upstairs outside. Both were great with no complaints. We never ailte here ghis time, have done before and sll great but we went down the street this time it was slso good.

Room 1 was freshly painted and enormous with sitting space and plenty of cupboard and drawer space as well as a mantelpiece and side table to put things like phones and chargers. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The bathroom was also large and efficient with a ledge for sponge bags and toothbrushes. Breakfasts were relaxed and delicious. Chloe the breakfast waitress looked after us very well. We had dinner with a few friends one evening and the food was interesting and tasty and Chloe the dinner waitress looked after us equally well! Folk Club on Tuesday evening was also highly enjoyable.
