Need a restroom with a combination lock at the lobby. Room was great. Loved the bed. Clean and nice. Fridge and microwave were very convenient. Looks newly renovated. Great location on the south side of town. Organic grocery store across the street. Food truck was in the parking lot on Sunday night. Near many restaurants and businesses.

DO NOT book this motel. 1 block from massive homeless encampment, they tried to keep my ID at check in and the entire place smells like pot. We prepaid before we saw the place and didn't even stay.

I had a very good stay. This Travelodge left an impression of a very well-run property. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my room here, enough to come back now to leave this review. This was my base for travel in the redwoods parks, lost coast, other surrounding attractions. Most located within 1 hr from the hotel. I did not spend much time in the room. It was a place to sleep, take a shower, and get myself going. Granted, this is a motel, not a five-star resort, but based on my experience this property delivers what it is supposed to deliver. Easy parking. The room was very clean, well maintained, good-sized, and comfortable. No breakfast at the hotel, but many options nearby, including local shops. Standard chains (e.g., Ihop) in the opposite direction, but similarly close by. The location is within walking distance to "old town Eureka" (don't expect too much, but it's pleasant enough), with lots of bars/restaurants, including above-mentioned breakfast options. Across the street you will find a full-size organic food supermarket with a deli. There were some homeless people in the surrounding area, but not too many and they were harmless. This is kind of obligatory in CA. During my stay most of the hotel was occupied by firefighters. Looked like CalFire rents this place to house out-of-town force. I did not have to interact much with the front desk staff (which is exactly the way it should be), but to the extent I did they were nice and helpful.

Remodeled rooms. Friendly staff. On a main road so not a quiet area. Many street active people in Eureka at night so you will likely experience city noise.

Wonderful Stay! Our stay at Travelodge was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We especially want to thank Mr Bhavessh for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Stayed here to visit family in the area. Before we even got here, I asked if we could do early check in, he was very rude and short telling me the earliest he could do is 2:30…. Check in is at 3 so what was the point? Once we got there, check in person was rude, no customer service skills. Not to mention we got there at 3:15 and 3 guests were waiting to check in because the door was locked with a sign saying, “returning in 15 minutes”… The beds were terrible… Once we checked out, I gave the desk person my key and they didn’t say anything so I asked if that was it… just very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn’t stay here again. I’ll spend the extra $50 next time for a better place.

Wow! Due to a prior experience at a Travelodge, I had set the bar low, but wanted a low price stay for one night while traveling. I was amazed, almost shocked at how well the room has been maintained. It must have been remodeled recently. The carpet, the paint, the furnishings,and OMG; the best shower I've used in the 9 days of our road trip. And that includes a lodge INSIDE YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK! I cannot say enough about this place. Even if there is no breakfast! Spend more, or have breakfast out! You probably would anyway. This part of town looks shady, but the motel was great. Kudos to the whole staff & owner. I WOULD DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN!

Super clean room & very friendly staff, Enough parking space. Quiet & safe place to stay with family. Large rooms they have coffee machine in room. Mini refrigerator, microwave @ also hair dryer. Clean and soft towels. Bed really comfortable had good sleep. Over all it’s was pleasant stay. Highly recommended.
