Hotel Boutique Las Arenas

We visited this restaurant three times, once for lunch and then for two dinners. Lunch was simple, tortilla and salad. Maria, who served us for both dinner visits, was very friendly and a cheerful and attentive host. She tells all the assembled patrons that as the food is all freshly prepared to order, that it will take longer and she asks them to be patient. It became apparent on night 2 that this wasn't true. The vegetables were exactly the same uniform size, texture and content as the previous night, suggesting that they are frozen. My fish on the first evening was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Our second dinner was not so good. The fish I ordered with identical veg from the previous night, was not good and I ended up being violently sick all night. At the time of year, there are very few restaurants open serving freshly cooked food, so it was disappointing.

Excellent small hotel. Just yards from ferry to Ibiza, Formentera and S. Eulalia. Also very near Hippy Market. Rooms were excellent. Staff smiling always. There is a cafe and restaurant as part of the building. Overall superb place. I will be back!

Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti in questo albergo. La posizione è splendida, affacciato direttamente sul mare da cui si vede un'alba stupenda. Pulizia nella media, asciugamani molto duri. Appena entrati in camera c'era un cattivissimo odore che proveniva dallo scarico doccia, oltre all'umidità che la camera presentava. Abbiamo chiesto che ci cambiassero la camera ma non lo hanno fatto. Abbiamo risolto coprendo lo scarico doccia con il telo piegato in 4. Altra pecca: la colazione. Nella norma la scelta ma la qualità è pessima. I cornetti sono duri, immangiabili. Lo yogurt confezionato e conservato a temperatura ambiente: presentava liquido in superficie all'apertura ed era caldo, perciò andato a male. Il primo giorno c'era l'anguria con un sacco di moscerini sopra. Consiglio di coprire la frutta offerta. Solo gli ultimo due giorni abbiamo trovato un'ottima torta fatta in casa. Caffè molto buono. I proprietari hanno sia l'albergo che pasticceria e ristorante sotto dove si fa colazione, ma la colazione offerta agli ospiti dell'albergo è diversa da quella dei clienti esterni. Vorrei fare presente che la colazione l'abbiamo pagata profumatamente alla prenotazione. Tutto quello che ho scritto lo abbiamo detto al personale che ha alzato le spalle e abbassato la testa. Le ragazze che servivano al bar la mattina erano molto cordiali e gentili. Hotel con grandi potenzialità ma che dovrebbe cercare di migliorare tutti i servizi. Rapporto qualità prezzo sotto la media. La zona è molto bella, più adatta alle famiglie.
