Au Jeu de Paume

Absolutely stunning quaint hotel right in the heart of Epernay. The property is beautiful and the hosts were amazing. We were given a glass of champagne on arrival, which we enjoyed in the beautiful garden. Immaculately clean and full of character and French charm. Breakfast was lovely every morning, will definitely go back when we return.

After the 4-hour drive from Eguisheim to Epernay, we were relieved to stay at this wonderfully charming B&B in the ideal location -- walking distance to shops, restos, and Avenue de Champagne. Anne-Marie and Bruno are the proprietors of this piece of heaven. There is no elevator, but Bruno is brawny and can assist. There are only 5 rooms -- we were in the premium Verte room at 250E per night with breakfast. It is very large, approximately 500 sq ft with separate toilette and bathroom which has both a tub and shower. On the second floor is a communal room with coffee maker, fresh fruit, and a minifridge of drinks. It is very comfortable and private. After checking in, we gathered in the breakfast room for a taste of Blanc de Blancs champagne and cookies. We knew this place was special and intimate. The B&B is tastefully furnished, much of it vintage or antique. It is housed in a former chateau. There is no room cleaning until the third rented day. Breakfast was delightful and made us feel special. There are a plethora of bakery items of top quality and variety, cheese plate, and charcuterie. The fruit drinks and coffee were fresh and flavorful. No complaints!

Magnifique endroit au plein centre d’Epernay. La chambre est spacieuse, calme, bien décorée, propre et la literie est très agréable. Pour manger le soir, vous trouverez de bonnes adresses dans les environs. Le petit déjeuner est varié et frais. Belle adresse sur Epernay

Très bon accueil dans cet hôtel particulier en plein centre ville, rénové avec goût et caractère. Madame est une artiste et ses tableaux et créations personnalisent avec classe ce bel endroit. Chambre ("aux papillons") la plus petite de l'établissement mais très agréable. Bonne literie. Si l'on a le sommeil léger, le ronronnement de la climatisation réversible peut gêner de temps en temps (prévoyez les boules Quiès au pire) mais nous avons passé une très bonne nuit. Très bon petit déjeuner complet. Petite cour intérieure pour garer la voiture. Une très belle découverte en plein centre ville, nous recommandons chaleureusement pour un séjour à deux.

Beautiful with art everywhere (owner restores art!), private courtyard, secure parking, very quiet. Glass of champagne on arrival. Breakfast gorgeous and delicious. Very centrally located. I want to go back.
