Le Clos St Georges

Fantastic accommodation and wonderful host, we absolutely loved our time here. The house is lovely, and huge, offering all the amenities you could want, including dedicated electric charging points for electric vehicles. Very comfortable rooms and great breakfast. And yet the star of the show, if this wasn’t enough, is the owner and manager, who is just lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. The location is great and a very short walk to the town, which has great appeal also. A lovely vacation in a fabulous location and property.

Adresse de charme. Propriété magnifique. Accueil très chaleureux, chambres spacieuses et hyper confortables. Table d hôtes exceptionnelle , belle découverte des produits de la région. Sandra est une cuisinière haut de gamme, nous nous sommes régalés. Nous avons adoré cette étape.

Sublime endroit (verdure, nature, magnifique jardin…) !!le gîte est parfait! Un accueil 5 étoiles! A conseiller les yeux fermés!!! Nous sommes venus avec nos deux filles (8 ans et 5 ans) qui ont été tout aussi séduites… MERCI aussi pr les conseils… On reviendra…

This is a beautiful place to stay; the rooms are spacious and well appointed each one different and steeped in the history of the old building with many quirky and interesting pictures. The bathroom had every luxury including Rituals toiletries and nice fluffy towels. It is quiet and peaceful, your hear nothing but birdsong, especially in the garden at the rear, and there are nice views over the Lot Valley. Our five star moment was breakfast, served in the large and comfortable kitchen with fresh pastries, crusty bread, many types of home-made jams and honey, fresh fruit and cereal and an endless supply of tea and coffee. Add to this the charming owners for whom nothing is too much trouble, and you have found a hidden gem!

Great property with a brilliant host An amazing property with an amazing host set in a beautiful town in a beautiful area. As cyclists it’s well located for some exceptionally scenic rides through the Lot gorges and to several medieval towns and villages. It’s also ideally located as a stop over point on the route from St Malo to Nice recommended in the France En Velo guide.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à 4. La convivialité, l'accueil chaleureux, les chambres confortables, propres et joliment décorées, le repas délicieux près de l'âtre et les chats Duchesse et O'Malley nous ont conquis ! A recommander !
