I am simply copying the email I sent to the property manager as my review. I removed some personal specific details and corrected a handful of typo's. The TownePlace Suites Denver Tech Center is not worth the price we paid to stay there for one night. My wife said it best when she called it a Motel 8 with a half assed attempt at a kitchen. I will attempt to sum up my experience in this email. No doubt I will miss a few of the details of what went into the poor quality of the stay. But these are things you need to know and things I plan to leave in my Google review. I will also be reaching out to Marriott corporate about these issues. We arrived at about 6pm on Friday, 1Sep23. We were greeted by Brandon at the front desk who was eager to help. It was also very clear that Brandon was new to the hospitality industry. While he was checking us in, I mentioned that when I completed the reservation, I had asked for crib service. To which he replied "For what?" as my wife was standing next to me holding our 1 yr old son. I also asked about the additional pillows and towels we had requested. He said he would check into it and get back to me. The first thing about the buildings we noticed was the solid green pool with the bike locks holding the gates closed and no sign. I specifically selected your hotel because of the pool and the crib services. The pool was clearly closed but nothing about "sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. Then, we noticed the exterior "security" doors. None of the ones we used closed on their own properly. I told Brandon about this and he told me there was a new maintenance guy who is supposed to fix them at some point. I took my wife and son to our room and began unpacking the bags we would need. The first thing my wife and I noticed was that there had clearly been former tenants with a cat in there as the corner of the couch looked like a well worn scratching post and there was a large round hole in the carpet about the size of a pie plate. The refrigerator had a large pool of water in the bottom drawers and there was a distinct funk in the air. This was room 129B. I complained to Brandon about this and he moved us across the hall to 130B. Thus, we began the process of relocation. The new room still suffered from the scratching post issue, but no hole in the carpet and no pond in the fridge. So, we stayed. When we were ready for bed, I had to go back over to the front desk to ask again about the crib, pillows and towels. Brandon handed me a bag with the towels, pillows and a couple of flat sheets for the pack and play as well as the pack and play. Points for the flat sheets. I took everything back to the room and when we set up the crib, it had caked on food all over the place. Clearly this has not been cleaned since the prior person used it. I would think in this day and age, the issues with this are clear? When I returned the pack and play to the front desk, I asked Brandon to have the manager call me and that my cel
