Lovely stay. Plenty of pre-arrival communications - very important and very useful. Gorgeous views from Cabin 1. Extremely memorable.

I really wanted to give this place 5 dots as the location is great and grounds are spectacular. Loved seeing a koala in the tree outside our house and kangaroo roaming the grounds. The house was very nice and clean. We did have 2 problems unfortunately. The WiFi was barely usable. Since cell coverage is generally fair or worse on the island the WiFi becomes really important. Anything other than email was basically useless including WiFi calling. I reported this to the owners and they said that their carrier would look into it, but there was no follow up and it did not improve. When the ferry was closed and I needed to rebook ferry, airline. rental car, hotel, activities, etc. this took forever since the WiFi was so bad. We visited in the winter. There is only one heater in the front room, far from the shower and toilet which were quite cold at night. Better heating distribution would be helpful. We would return if the WiFi issue were to be resolved as this is a wonderful place. But getting the details right is important and we had a miss in our case unfortunately.

キッチンペーパーやアルミホイルなど、数日滞在するのに必要なものはすべてそろっていて、とても快適に過ごせました。 これで洗濯機があれば完璧！なのですが、カンガルー島の水事情を考えれば仕方ないのかなと思います。（注意喚起のお知らせが部屋内にありました） オーナーの方からも快適に過ごせているかどうかの気遣いの連絡もいただきました。（私からの返信が届かなかったことに気づいていたのですが、そのまま何も連絡せず、申し訳なかったです。） 部屋からも海の景色を見渡すことができ、他の棟からの視線も気にならないように配置されていて、敷地内に住むコアラを見に行ったり、庭先で野生のカンガルーを見たり、島での滞在を満喫できました。

Rustic CABIN 2 at Emu Bay Holiday Park Comfortable stay. Love the peace and tranquility . Spotted lots of koalas , kangaroos and birds, Love the night sky for star gazing.

We stayed in cabin 1 and the firstly the views were unbelievable an unblocked view of emu bay and the beach. Kangaroos roaming just by the cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept and we used the BBQ on our first night which was great! Easily accessible to everything we would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to visit KI. Dirk and Zanne were extremely helpful and contactable and booked our ferry crossings for us which came with some discount. Great hosts and a great place to stay and enjoy. Would come again 100%.

Very clean and well presented, and surprisingly roomy. Limited sea views, but still enjoyed looking out to the sea and beach from the balcony/verandah. Even had a koala visit at one stage. Whilst there are a number of units/cabins on site, I was taken by the peacefulness of the location. I will definitely be back.
