A long time visitor to Elounda we have often had a drink at the bar here as the views over the bay are so stunning We’ve never usually been lucky enough to stay here as rooms are snapped up annually in advance for the most popular weeks / school holidays Manos is extremely friendly , makes a mean cocktail, and truly so helpful with anything you may need , as is Lynne who works in the mornings. Showers ( depending on the room ) can be a bit iffy power wise ( as per everywhere in Greece when the building is one of the original ones of the village ) I believe renovations were imminent but even if not you will get a great host , view and chill factor and a plethora of amazing restaurants nearby to boot

We've stayed here before and like it so much we just keep coming back! Always a great welcome, no hassle and it makes a good place for a base to explore from (car required!) It is close enough to walk in to Elounda centre (10 mins slow walk), the town has loads of cafes, bars and very nice restaurants. Boat trips on hand. But most of all, Mano, always there and ready to help.

We spent ten days at the Hiona apartments. The apartments are basic but offer all you need and are very clean. Lovely pool area and friendly and helpful staff. Location just perfect, a ten minute beautiful walk into the village, quiet at night.

Amazing Amazing. Just come back from an absolute brilliant Greek night with my family age range from 5 years to 70 x food beautiful drinks Amazing n entertainment involved everyone from families to the bar staff and the owner and wow can they dance x just perfect x

Just back from a week's stay. Absolutely perfect spot. Was greeted by the lovely lynn and manos. All the staff couldn't do enough for you. All very clean. Plenty of sunbeds and chairs and tables. The only downfall was the showers aren't very powerful. But certainly didn't effect my stay. Food was nice , get manos to make you one of his special cocktails .

We have just got back from a fabulous family holiday at Hiona Apartments and would definitely recommend staying here. Having two children with additional needs we found this place to be perfect with very friendly staff, where nothing was too much trouble. With a daughter who loves to spend time in the pool and a son who loves fishing, we found having the sea across the road a perfect place. Manos also makes the most amazing cocktails. Perfect location with only 10 min walk into the main square. We will definitely be back!!

We stayed 2 weeks at Hiona with another two couples. As happens in Greece the staff were incredibly friendly and chilled out. There was no hassle around the pool regarding beds and although not massive the pool offered a welcome dip on a hot day. Literally 10 yards or so across the road you could also walk into the sea if you wanted a bit more swimming space. The rooms are not huge but are incredibly clean and it seems that all of them have a balcony. My male friends and I are big football fans and the owner Mano always made sure our chosen game was on when we needed it. The pool side bar is indeed the nerve centre and we would often start and end the night there with the odd Aperol Spritz or Ouzo.

Υπεροχη θεα απο τα διαμερισματα! Ευχαριστο περιβαλλον!!! Πολυ ευγενικο και φιλικο προσωπικό!!πολυ καθαρο, και με ολες τις ανεσεις!! Ωραια κοκτειλ το βραδυ στο μπαρ! Και ωραιες παραδοσιακες βραδιες! Totally recommended!!!

The Hiona is perfectly located on the sea front a short scenic walk to the restaurants. The rooms have everything you need as a base to explore. Aircon is a real bonus. The 2 bed was a great size for us with two teens. Good size 2 beds are hard to find. The pool area is lovely and benefits from the sea view. What really make Hiona is the staff and Manos. Great hosts. Great local advise, happy to book taxis and great company at the bar. Lots of fun. Can see why people return year on year. We definitely will, see you again Manos.
