I loved this resort! The staff were very friendly and warm and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I had a lovely room. They even graciously gave me an upgrade because it was my birthday! The only thing I would advise is that if you are coming, thinking you’re going to be swimming and lolling in the ocean the sea here is not really made for that. It’s lovely to look at and receive the breeze from, but not to swim or snorkel. I can’t say anything about scuba diving because I did not do that on this trip so it’s possible when you go further out the waters are very clear but close to the shoreline they are not just due to the sand and the roughness of the surf

Just a wonderfully relaxed place to base yourself after the hustle and bustle of Ghana. Incredibly friendly staff and an amazing location on the beachfront. Wonderful breakfast and amazingly comfortable room. everything works. Only downside is the length of time that food takes to be delivered, but once you’re used to it you realise it’s just Ghana time.!

This was the most restful, idyllic place we’ve ever stayed. So quiet and peaceful and yet so festive and fun without being jarring or loud at the pool setting. The food is delicious and the staff is the most helpful, friendly and welcoming group of people you could ever want to meet. Rose, Daniel, Michael and everyone there were just the best. Can’t wait to come back!

This hotel is beautiful, absolutely stunning grounds, lovely food, spotless room. Staff very friendly and a perfect stay, I came with friends after visiting the Kakum national park and Elmina castle. We had a lovely, relaxing time and wish we could have stayed longer but we only had the weekend! The private beach was so sandy and luscious, and there’s a beautiful shop a few minutes up the beach. Felt so content and safe there. Our villa overlooked the beach and it’s just the most wonderful sea view I felt so lucky to have been able to spent time here. Thank you so so much. I’d come back in a heartbeat! The fresh coconuts were divine!

Excellent service and Sarkinah in receptionen is "10 staar employee" and the view is amazing swimming ‍♀️ in the guinea bay is perfect and a good breakfast was included. Indoor pool wa warm and cousi We will come back soon. Best Regards Johan and Lotta Finland.

I stumbled upon Coconut Grove Beach Resort, and boy, am I glad I did! This hidden gem boasts an incredible beach, delicious local cuisine, and comfortable rooms with breathtaking ocean views. The resort's animal sanctuary and kids' activities made it an ideal spot for families. We'll definitely be back

Excellent beds and food ! Very smpathetic staff and very nice rooms. To reach excellence, some doors may need maintenance in order not to touch the floor and some fans are noisy. Easy to upgrade I think. I recommend strongly to anyone who wants a peaceful rest in Ghana

Beautiful setting but needs upgrading. I stayed there fifteen years ago. Very disappointed

We are arrived safe at the hotel. And the general manager was good to us. We enjoy the supper, for example i enjoy my fried cassava with my grill sniper fish with the green papper. The buffer was so nice. I enjoy my walking exercise around the hotel.

This resort is truly heaven on earth, when we arrived we were met with a friendly staff who greeted us promptly and welcomed us. We had dinner by the beach grilled Grouper with Yuca fries and sipped on cold Star. We had an opportunity to connect with GM Victor Mintah who checked on us multiple times to make sure all our needs were being met. This resort is must visit whenever you are in Ghana for a vacation. Ohh almost forgot the breakfast in the morning OMG. Thank you Coconut grove for making our stay memorable will be definitely be back!!!

We attended this venue for lunch on the way from Elmina Castle. Firstly, this was located in a beautiful space right on the beach. However, that's where it stopped. We placed our meal order and it took forever for the food to arrive. When it did it was only one dish. It was another 10 minutes at least before the second plate arrived. We lost track of time before the final set of dishes arrived. One of the party had ordered Jollof Rice. It was another ten minutes after everyone had received their meals before a waitress arrived with fried rice saying that they had run out of Jollof. That in itself was not an issue, the problem was this was not conveyed to us before they arrived with the fried rice. An order is an order and if they were unable to fulfill the order then we should have been notified and given the choice to request an alternative and not have the decision made for us. Secondly, where we were sitting they had table tennis which people were using. I couldn't understand why it was thought to be appropriate to have people smacking a ball in front of people who are eating. I was hit with the ball twice and I was not happy about this especially as the person who had hit me thought it was hilarious. As I was leaving I went to use the toilet which was locked. At this point I thought there was only one toilet. After waiting for a considerable time I rattled the door only for it to be opened and it was evident from the three people standing there that it was being used as a changing room. The toilets were very unpleasant, wet and in need of a good clean, probably not helped by the fact that it was being used by people who had been swimming. It was such a shame as this is a lovely venue and the view is gorgeous. However, staffing is an issue as the wait for food and the bill was just too long. They need to notify guests if a dish is not available and the table tennis needs to be located elsewhere.

Wow!, The beds were hard as concrete, the rooms rustic ( I mean RUSTIC old and very dated) Wifi and the reception was less the spotty, telephone did not work in room #20, The staff was nice and very accommodating, food was far, service was impeccable.

Had a great lunch with a stunning view. The food was delicious and Michael who looked after us went above and beyond to make sure that we had all we wanted. My son loved the chicken in a basket and my husband enjoyed Banku. We all had fres coconut water and a great time.
