Villas at Gingershack Farms

If you have kids that love animals and love a family vacation around animals; or if you're looking for a meditative gettaway, for peace and quiet in the mountainous woods; a pastoral, tranquil place within 20 minute drive from a cute, picturesque small town that has several good restaurants (including really great Italian pizza!) and a few antique stores; and access to some great hiking trails; have no second thought, as Gingershack Farms is an incredible place to stay. So quiet and peaceful, tucked in the woods, with the most adorable goats and rabits and hens right outside the cabin; and the cabins - so clean, and well-equipped, and spacious, well-lit and well airconditioned (or heated) - so convenient and cozy and really feel like home away from home. And the couple who lives in this farm and run the cabins are so nice and kind, and accessible at any time and will give you all the tips you need about the area. (And, they were also so kind as to let me know I left behind my toiletry bag and to suggest to ship it to me on the mail, which they did in no time. Thank you!)

Quiet getaway Very nice and quiet getaway. Exceptional cleanliness and comfortable. Very accommodating for the storm that came later.

Cabin in the country Cute cabin in a great setting. Cabin very clean. Fit our needs perfectly for a one night stay. Didn’t realize that the second bedroom had bunk beds only since it was described as two queen beds and bunk beds. Nice variety of keurig coffees. No kitchen utensils provided so be prepared if staying long enough that these are needed. Close to Ellijay and several wineries. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful Rural Setting The cabins and property are beautiful . I visited during the rainy season and experienced quite the storm ! I can only imagine how lovely it would be in late summer through fall. The location is a bit out of Ellijay, so it’s best to be prepared by bringing food or eating before arriving. Russ is a communicative owner who takes pride in his property. I loved the animals the most! The cutest bunnies and sweetest goats! Russ gave me animal crackers to feed them , and I quickly became their best friend !
