Poomaz Peace Palace - Ella

Got the suite with four beds, very spacious and in a good location away from the loud music but close enough to walk to all the restaurants and bars.

🔼 Posizione perfetta: A pochi minuti a piedi dalla strada principale, dopo una ripida discesa/salita, abbastanza lontano dal caos per godere della tranquillità. 🔼 Balcone e terrazza per una colazione rilassante (se c'è nel tempo) 🔼 Accoglienza calorosa: l'host è come cordiale e disponibile per ogni richiesta, sempre pronto ad aiutare con informazioni e organizzazione. 🔼 Buona colazione. 🔼 Wi-Fi buono 🔽 Pressione dell'acqua modesta, ma sufficiente (come in tantissime altre strutture) 🔽 Acqua calda: se non c'è il sole, va richiesto di accendere il boiler 🔽 Servizio camere non giornaliero: Le stanze non vengono pulite quotidianamente. 🔽 Pulizia generale: è buona, ma anche l'occhio vuole la sua parte. Muri macchiati, tende sporche, qualche ragnatela qua e là (che si possono facilmente togliere con una pulizia quotidiana) 🔽 Le tende non coprono totalmente, può rendere difficile dormire la mattina con la luce che entra 🔽 Bisogna scegliere l'orario della colazione, il che limita un po' la flessibilità qualora all'ultimo minuto si voglia dormire di più. 🔽 Non ci sono interruttori per la luce vicino al letto, tanto meno prese elettriche 🔽 No zanzariera sul letto (personalmente non ho avuto problemi di zanzare, ma potrebbe diventarlo)

Great central affordable option. Only recommendation is to put blinds on the glass doors as the sun in the morning and patio light at night make it challenging to sleep.

This stellar reputation is a reflection of the owner’s dedication and commitment to his guests. From the moment we booked until the time we checked out, the experience was seamless. The owner was extremely prompt in his responses and provided detailed information about Ella, the weather, and local recommendations, ensuring we were well-prepared for our stay. The room itself was thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary amenities. It included a kettle, tea and coffee, a small refrigerator, and a comfortable bed. While fans were provided, Ella’s naturally cool climate meant we didn’t need them much. The bathroom was spacious and offered both hot and cold water, adding to the comfort of our stay. What really sets this place apart is its location. Just a 3-4 minute walk, and you’ll find yourself on Ella’s most happening street, surrounded by vibrant restaurants and cafes. Cafe Chill, one of the most popular spots, is only a 5-minute walk away, and several supermarkets are nearby, making it convenient to stock up on essentials. The little touches also stood out, like the two complimentary water bottles provided during our stay. Breakfast was delicious, and our request for vegetarian options was gladly accommodated. It was clear that the team goes the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable. One thing to keep in mind is their currency conversion policy—they convert USD to LKR at the bank’s buying rate, which is just 3-4 LKR higher than the exchange rate. This transparency was appreciated, as there were no surprises during checkout. Overall, our stay at Poomaz Peace Palace was fantastic, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ella. The perfect mix of great hospitality, a prime location, and comfortable accommodations made this an experience to remember!

エラのダウンタウンメイン通りから50-60m入ったところにあり立地は抜群です。 水回りがシャワー含めてあまり良くないですが、若者のバックパッカーにはとても良いと思います。
