Levon Boutique Hotel

The hotel has just been renovated and is in a magnificent location above the railway, very close to Kitha Ella train station. The owner, Dave, is very kind and welcoming and makes the experience even more beautiful. highly recommended! He also offered us the first dinner because of our recent engagement 💍😍

Cet hôtel est un bijou ! Très belle chambre, lit ultra-confortable, grande salle de bains, douche avec pression, terrasse avec une vue splendide. Dave est un hôte formidable, accueillant et chaleureux, aux petits soins, il donne de très bons conseils et prépare de délicieux petits déjeuners. L’hôtel est à demi-heure de marche de Ella en passant le lointain de la voie ferrée, promenade avec des vues magnifiques. Et pour le soir, en 10 minutes de tuk tuk on est à Ella. Un gros coup de cœur !

David was so welcoming with a lovely afternoon tea on the upper deck overlooking the most amazing view. The room facilities are high quality and we were served a lovely Sri Lankan breakfast on our return from Ella Rock… the trail starts at the train station just below the hotel. A great option for dinner is a two minute walk down the rail line. Thanks for making it a wonderful stay…will be back for longer next time.

Recently renovated boutique hotel where the new owner welcomes you with open arms. He made sure we got off the right station / place, served delicious tea with biscuits upon arrival and arranged a late night dinner for us at the River Face restaurant at short walking distance from the hotel. A delicious local breakfast was served in the morning. If you’re looking for a small scale hotel in the Ella hill side, away from the more busy centre, this is the perfect g option!

Dave provided an amazing experience at the Levon Hotel. He took care of us from start to finish. The breakfast in the morning was an amazing spread of traditional Sri Lankan tastes. The room was comfortable, the views were beautiful and the location outside of Ella was fabulous.

A beautiful haven in Ella. We loved this hotel, so special, intimate, with a beautiful terrace and extremely peaceful immersed in nature. Breakfast was incredible, thank you for your kindness and hospitality David! We stayed here for one night our honeymoon tour of Sri Lanka and it was a highlight!
