What a find ! Fantastic location up in the hills near Ella , with amazing views. Great facilities with spacious accommodation and the staff are so friendly. You will need to take the Tea Cabins Tuk Tuk from the street down to the reception. Pre order breakfast which is delivered to your room and enjoy at your leisure.

We stayed at Tea Cabins for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of magical. We had the opportunity to stay in two different cabins during our visit, and both were absolutely stunning, each one had a private pool and all the amenities we needed for a perfect, relaxing stay. We arrived right after our wedding, and the staff made everything so special for us. The room was beautifully decorated, complete with a cake to celebrate our special day. They even allowed us to do a photoshoot on the property, which we truly appreciated. The team at Tea Cabins couldn’t have been more helpful. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable. The food was also fantastic and we enjoyed every meal! We had such a memorable time and can’t wait to return one day. Highly recommend this place for couples looking for a romantic and peaceful getaway.

We came for one night as part of our honeymoon trip around Sri Lanka. It was absolutely amazing. The staff picked us up in a tuk outside little Adam’s peak and took us directly to the villa. They decorated the bed with happy honeymoon signs and gave us a free cake which was a lovely gesture. The villa itself was spacious and high spec it also had everything including a stocked mini bar, dressing gowns and iron ect. We ordered food to the villa for the evening which was well priced and had breakfast at the villa the next day. The little pool was very cold so couldn’t use it much but everything else was great,

We spent 3 nights in the Superior Villa and it was definitely our favourite place we stayed in Sri Lanka. The scenery and all the sounds of nature make it so relaxing, the location is great. My partner told them it was for my birthday and they decorated the bed and provided a cake which was lovely! We loved that they provided a WhatsApp number with the menu so you could just text your order. This made it so easy to order food and let them know what time to deliver breakfast. We had Breakfast and Dinner every day during our stay and the food was always amazing! Great choice of both western and Sri Lankan food on offer and for breakfast you can pick between Sri Lanka or a Full English. We had to leave early for a tour one day but they were able to provide breakfast for us still which was really appreciated! We had a guide throughout our stay so never needed the Tuktuk service offered but in the car it was only around 10 minutes to main area of Ella and about 20 to Nine arch bridge. The attention to detail is fantastic and even when we had rain one of the days, we didn’t mind as it was so cozy sitting in the upstairs area playing a game of chess which was provided!

We only had 3 nights in the Tea Cabin but could easily have stayed for longer. We have visited many Airbnbs but this one stands out from all the rest due to its stunning location and beautiful views over the tea plantations and mountains. To wake up to those views is something we’ll never forget. We were very well looked after and all requests are dealt with via a group chat which is set up before arrival. Top tip for anyone visiting SL for the first time you must buy an e-SIM at the airport. We used Dialog and it only cost £4 for 20GB and they set your phone up for you. We were collected from Ella railway station even though the train was running late and a free tuk-tuk was available throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, polite, responsive and respectful. One standout day for us walking the railway tracks behind the cabin all the way to the Nine Arches Bridge which must be done! We had two very enjoyable evenings down in Ella each time using the free tuk. Highly recommended!

Wat een geweldige plek! Super aardige host. Heel behulpzaam. Mooi groot huisje met privé zwembad. Ontbijt heerlijk. We hebben er ook 1x gedineerd. Was ook heel erg goed en lekker. Badkamer met grote regendouche. Alleen de badkamer is dan helemaal nat. Maar dat droogt weer snel. Als je naar t dorp wilt of terug, kun je de eigenaar het beste whatsappen. Pick me werkt daar meestal niet. Kortom, zeker een aanrader!

Beautiful cabins located about 15 minutes from Ella. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the cabin had everything we could wish for. Dinner and breakfast was brought to the cabin as there is no restaurant and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend and sad to only stay one night!

Wir hatten das Glück, eine Nacht in dieser bezaubernden Unterkunft verbringen zu dürfen – und wären am liebsten länger geblieben! Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft, Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Gastgeber und des gesamten Teams. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle, die etwas Ruhe suchen und nicht direkt im Zentrum von Ella übernachten möchten. Eingebettet in eine traumhafte Landschaft aus Reisfeldern und Teeplantagen, die man wunderbar zu Fuß erkunden kann, bietet die Unterkunft ein echtes Naturerlebnis. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist die Erreichbarkeit von nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr unkompliziert – ob mit Tuk-Tuk oder Taxi, alles ist schnell erreichbar. Ein weiteres Highlight war das leckere Frühstück und die Auswahl an frisch zubereiteten Speisen – mit viel Liebe gekocht und serviert. Wir können die Tea Cabins in Ella absolut empfehlen – eine wunderbare Kombination aus Natur, Ruhe und echter sri-lankischer Herzlichkeit. Ein echter Geheimtipp!

We had an amazing honeymoon stay at Tea Cabins! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure our room was beautifully set up for our special occasion. Since we arrived soon after our wedding, they went above and beyond to help us settle in comfortably. The food was absolutely delicious, and we even had a wonderful photoshoot during our stay. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would definitely love to visit again!
