Rodeway Inn Elko Downtown Area

The room was clean and have a lot of space. The bed was comfortable the bathroom was clean and nice water pressure. Hot and cold water are working. Breakfast has little offers but there is something for us to get going in the morning. We did have a good stay at the hotel.

We stayed at the inn in the middle of the returning trip back to Canada. What made the 1,500-mile journey even more memorable was the effort the owner made to reach us to return an item we accidentally left behind. As a recipient of this kindness and thoughtful arrangement, what I can say is, the world is beautiful because of people who make it so. Thank you again, Sir!

I stay at a LOT of motels and this was a great one! The owners are very friendly and hospitable and it's obvious they care about your experience as a client. My room, 103, was very clean, large, well-appointed., and had plenty of outlets. The Rodeway Inn is perfectly situated for easy walks to the downtown area for restaurants, museums, and quaint shoppes. I'd certainly stay here again!

Stayed here due to allowing dogs. Basic cheap shampoo and soap, no conditioner. Grassy area behind the motel, one block where you can take your dog. cons Room smelled awful like an old smell Dirty furniture Room terribly hot, no ac just fan Only windows, no exhaust fan in bathroom The Mgr reminded me not to let the dog on the bed my dogs doesn’t lay on the bed. Not cool really. They charge an extra $25 to have a dog. Could hear people in next room I would not stay here again. Maybe they give people with dogs run down and smelly rooms but should not be. Motel six is cheaper and does not charge extra for a dog. Next time in Elko will stay there.

We were in town for our daughters funeral There was a very large group of couples and families to accommodate. Some came earlier than planned, some later. It could have been very confusing and stressful , but Henry saw to it that every person n every room was cared for. The hotel s older but has nice upgrades. Like showers and fans. They have all the amenities of a larger newer, more expensive hotel. My family was happy to be here and all commented on the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms as well as the kindness and professionalism of the owners and staff. We have family in Elko and we will all be back to to RodeWay again!

Only stayed one night while passing through, traveling with a small dog. The room was comfortable and clean, but parking was terrible! Very tiny lot. There was also no grass for dogs, however, a very nice city park is about a block away. Other than the parking, it would be a very nice hotel.

I'm usually a bit hesitant to stay at Rodeway Inns, but decided to give this one a shot because of its low price and high reviews. It ultimately made for an excellent overnight stop with excellent owners at the front desk, and I would stay here again next time I pass through Elko. While it definitely has many of the markings of an older motel, a lot of updates have been made to fixtures and furnishings. Towels were also quite nice for this price point. Sheets were average, but curtains were dated. Sufficient pillows were provided. Room also had a few bonus features, such as a ceiling fan, mini fridge with separate freezer section, separate makeup mirror, and nicely tiled bathroom and tub/shower with rainfall showerhead. Microwave was present, but dated. WiFi was present, but on the sluggish side (just fine for checking email, but don't plan on streaming many videos). Breakfast was small, but standard for this price point. Mattress was a bit odd. It was very firm on the edges, but very springy in the middle. It made sitting on the edge of the bed a little weird (you kind of sink back into the bed), but was rather comfortable for sleeping. AC is present, and is aided by ceiling fan. But the unit is rather dated and not the most intuitive system. If you want to cool the room down for sleep, start early and turn it all the way to low because it moves slow. Owners should consider this higher priority for future renovations. My room door had to be pushed/pulled very hard to close, so double check that the door actually locks when you leave. (My door appeared closed upon arrival, but just pushed open). Bathroom door was also starting to come off a hinge, making it so that you have to pick the door up by the handle to close it. Ultimately a very good value for such a low price point. I would return in the future.

The Rodeway was a great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. A ceiling fan kept the air moving so we were neither hot or cold. Just right (for the spring time). The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed talking with them. Room was taken care of each day, not completely cleaned but what we needed. Breakfast was continental so we ate out each day. However the Gold Dust has a $5.99 breakfast each day or there were other fine restaurants in town. We were happy so we extended our stay at the Rodeway an additional week. We are full time travelers and this is a great place to stay. If you’re lookin for fancy, keep looking. If you’re looking for clean and comfortable stay here. Next time through Elko, we will stay here.

Two and a half circles would be more accurate. This isn’t a bad place, but I don’t feel it lives up to all the rave reviews. Our room had quite an old feel to it; creaky floors, linens needed replacing/upgrading, badly stained fabric on the chairs, no table. The bathroom was poorly laid out with the tissue holder about four feet from the toilet. The shower, however had been recently remodeled and was attractive and updated. Shower time was difficult, though, as the faucet was confusing and perhaps the hot and cold water were reversed? Not sure, but the water never did get hot enough and we had to settle for lukewarm showers. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee. Everything else was adequate, though basic. The man at the desk the next day was very pleasant and accommodating by giving us extra time at checkout since we had arrived very late. I booked this room knowing it was a budget motel, but was attracted by the many excellent reviews. I wouldn’t say don’t stay here, but just be aware that it is a budget property and expect that.
