Very good clean condition polite and very friendly service

Very nice and comfortable stay at the Premier Inn at Elgin. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff made the stay even better. The hotel and rooms were very comfortable and clean, had everything that was needed. The bed was the highlight of the room, being so ridiculously comfortable. The rooms were also quiet. The car park feels safe and secure, and we were very comfortable leaving a hire car in it. The breakfast was really nice too. All in all, very happy with the price that we paid for the hotel and will return if we ever stay in Elgin again.

Stayed here at the weekend for my 40th, lovely hotel, easy to get to, all the staff were friendly and went above and beyond, they set the room up with buntin and balloons for me after my partner had reached out to them. This was lovely on entering the room, a really nice gesture, a birthday card chocolates and a beer or two was a brilliant touch. 5* guys can’t thank you enough. Had dinner in the restaurant on our first evening, everything was great and it certainly hit the spot after our 4hour drive. Staff were happy to seat us at 9pm too and the food was all perfect. Would highly recommend. We visited Prince Albert’s Cairn in Balmoral while staying here, well worth a visit if your in the area.

Ok ive stayed at this hotel easily 20 times over the last 5-10 years. Its on the spiral down room I stayed in looks tired in need of care, not a refurbishment paint damaged carpets not hoovered dusting not great etc. The restaurant had a limited menu first two nights of my stay this time now its not even open at all for food! The restaurant used to have a playpark and an area where you could enjoy the picnic tables, looks like it needs a pressure wash its all weeds growing through the surface it just looks like no one cares. This morning woke up to no hot water spoke to reception they already knew and said it would be fixed today no apologies. Its just as I say seems like a lack of care and a spiral down. There is a lack of hotels locally so they will always get business. Always preferred premier to Travelodge but next time will head over to Travellodge as the standards are gone here.

Disappointing for what we paid for. Paid £203 for 2 night. The room was clean but absolutely freezing on arrival. The heating had been shut off in the room and window vents were left open. Took a few hours for the room to get to a comfortable temperature. We not given clear instructions on arrival how to book the restaurant, we just got told it was the building across the road and we had to book. Had to go back down to reception to book the restaurant. The bed is comfy and got a decent sleep. There are plenty of car parking spaces. The restaurant is nice and welcoming but only opens for breakfast and evening meals, staff are friendly and attentive. Sadly I would have to book somewhere else due to the price and what you pay for

I’ve used this hotel many times before when visiting family and never had an issue but on this trip unfortunately not so. I’d selected to book a twin room but when we arrived it was a double. I reported straight away to reception and they said to wait and they’d sort it. Came back to find the double and a small sofa bed made up. My 6 5” son cannot fit on it. Asked to be moved to a twin and was told I didn’t book for 2 people and the last twin was sold. There was no option on booking to add a 2nd name otherwise I would have done but regardless I booked a twin, so should have got a twin and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out twin means 2 people. 2 terrible nights sleep later and a ruined visit to family I reported it unnder their good nights sleep guarantee, needless to say I’ve had no reply. Very disappointed.
