I loved this place. As many others have said, you have to be okay with stairs. There are a lot of stairs. just think of it as a workout on vacation. They also have a gym, with a treadmill, a bike, workout mats, workout gloves and the coldest water dispenser I could find on property. No free weights, though. The hotel graciously honored my request for a room with a great view, and I truly believe I got the best one - room 204, middle building, the third floor with the most stairs. There are all sorts of lovely things - the usual ones like robes, slippers, bathroom stuff, but they also have mosquito repellent, aromatherapy, and fun things at turndown service. The bathroom is partially outdoors, though well concealed. The lighting therefore was darker than I was used to, but it worked overall. Minibar prices are exceedingly reasonable. The staff is wonderful, and eager to get you anything - large umbrellas, beach towels, and they do it all with smiles. I took the free paddleboard out for a spin, which was great. They also have free use of kayaks. The hotel is located a hop, skip and jump away from a small commercial district with restaurants, stores, a gym, and massage places. Be aware there is strangely no cell service in that area.

The hotel is clean and modern, and you feel like you are inside a forest, completely surrounded by trees. The rooms are clean and big. The location, the view of the sea, and the sunset are fabulous! I can't rate it with 5* since I've got some points to refer to this hotel. We made the reservation with breakfast included, which is 3,000 per couple, and for 2 days, we had breakfast a la carte, where the price for each menu is around 700 to 800 pesos per person. It did not make sense for us to have 2 days a la carte, and the 2 days with buffet. Additionally, the massage here is expensive since the therapeutics must come from the town, and the price is overrated compared to other hotels of 5* or better quoted in the market. Lunch and dinner can be ordered in 2 different restaurants. The restaurant is near the swimming pool, and the other one is in front of the beach, which belongs to the hotel and the food is much better than the first one and cheaper. The swimming pool is impressive, you can enjoy the fantastic view of the sea and the sunset.

Their menu is cheaper than other beachside restaurants in EL Nido and for the serving I'd say it's worth it. We enjoyed the sunrise here when there weren't many tourists yet and we had the beach to ourselves. The beach was clean and the staff were very friendly.

Quelle belle découverte ! Ce resto / bar est situé les pieds dans l’eau sur la plage de Cabañas Beach. Nous y avons passé l’après-midi et la soirée. Tout est réussi : les plats, les boissons , l’ambiance. Un spot incroyable pour le coucher du soleil, une atmosphère très agréable et un service rapide et aimable. Les prix sont en plus de ça très abordables. Une journée dont nous nous rappellerons longtemps !

Pros Superb view of Maremegmeg beach and excellent accommodation. Rooms are new and very clean. Infinity pool is exclusive for in house guests. It takes 10 minutes via tricycle (standard mode of public transportation in El Nido) to go to town proper, have a stroll, buy souvenirs and have a wider range of restaurants to choose from. Free use of kayak for guests. They provide citronella spray which serves as insect repellant for protection from sand mites called Nik Nik in local dialect. You can book a tour with the hotel. Cons Room is a bit pricey. Food is expensive (to be fair food is expensive everywhere in El Nido) but there are restaurants around the hotel including McDonald's or travel via tricycle to tow proper. Stinging organisms (probably planktons) in the water, suprisingly though they were gone on the last day of our stay so we made the most of it and enjoyed the beach. Overall, me, my wife and 2 kids enjoyed our stay in Maremegmeg Beach Club and would definitely come back in the future

A beautiful gem of a boutique hotel, 12 rooms built into the hillside jungle setting. The pictures online do not do this place justice! It’s just incredible. The service from the hotel team is top notch. The view from the room is breathtaking. We had a double sea view room, top floor with an amazing view and plenty of space for our family of 4. We had a short 3 night stay, we will come back!

Wonderfull room beach and bar view. They provide you the perfect private island tour assistance, daily. Lovely place , unforgetable sunsets and music. We fell in love with Maremegemeg hotel. It doubles the joy of being in El Nido, makes you feel comfortable and after all these great and exhaustimg activities it is good to return back to a clean and cool place.

This property was the highlight of our trip to the Philippines, by far the best! The arrival experience transported us to paradise! The grounds are so well kept, the team is super helpful and the view from our balcony overlooking the bay was just magical. Great service, amazing breakfast, lovely food and cocktails from the beach restaurant too, can't fault it! We were on our honeymoon and found a nice bottle of wine and a beautiful flower arrangement in our room, so thoughtful - thank you! Special mention to the front office team, specifically Angel and Trisha, who did an excellent job at making us feel welcome and making our stay here a memorable one. They also helped us arrange our airport transfers and boat tours, gave us great recommendations and were just always there to help in any way they could. Thank you so much guys, we loved staying at Maremegmeg, we'll be back!

I have been many places as a Titanium Elite Bonvoy member and I can tell you this place is FANTASTIC. I highly recommend to those adventurous travelers looking for new experiences. The service is 5 star for this lux resort on the beach. Bravo and will return!
