Riad Soleil d'Orient

The Riad is a true oasis in the middle of the El Jadida medina. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning and fast and reliable wi-fi access. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with freshly baked m'smen, a typical Moroccan bread. I had dinner twice, and the food was delicious. One of the times, they served me a lamb tagine which was divine. All the staff is friendly and helpful. The owners, a very affable couple, are always attentive to guests' needs without being a nuisance. The interior courtyard, with a fig tree, two palm trees, and a small fountain in the middle, has several tables and is a great place, sheltered from the heat and wind, to sit and work. It is also where breakfast and dinner are served. A terrace equipped with sun loungers makes it possible to sunbathe in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I loved it.

Dieses Hotel ist ein Traum. Man glaubt von aussen nicht was einem erwartet. Beim Eintreten wird man von sehr nettem Personal erwartet. Das Haus ist wunderbar gestaltet. Man kann diese Entdeckung nur empfehlen. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr schön. Die Sauberkeit des ganzen Hauses ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichlich. UNBEDINGT - das Abendessen dort einnehmen. Die Zubereitung durch die Köchin des Hauses gehört zum Besten was wir wir fast drei Wochen Marokko erlebt haben. Es wird frisch gekocht, daher muss man mit der Buchung des Tisches auch gleich das Essen auswählen. Wir empfehlen sich ein drei gängiges Menü auszuwählen.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine (mars 2025), dans ce superbe Riad, magnifiquement décoré et coloré. Nous avons eu un accueil plus que chaleureux. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Les repas et petits déjeuners sont délicieux et copieux. Toute l'équipe souriante et serviable est présente et discrète. Merci à tous d'avoir contribué à notre merveilleuse semaine à El-Jadida.

The riad is a peaceful space, with welcoming staff and beautiful rooms. My outstanding critique is that the water pressure in the bathroom was relatively weak and inconsistent; there was also a part of one day that the bath faucet seemed to run out, and the toilet would not flush. Otherwise, things seemed in order, and we appreciated the kindness of the service. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Graziosissimo Riad, gentilezza e attenzione ottimali da parte del personale, cucina squisita e raffinata. Lo consigliamo vivamente, noi ci siamo stati benissimo. Si trova molto vicino alla fortezza portoghese e al centro di El Jadida.
