Gutes Hotel in El Calafate an der Hauptstrasse. Zu Fuß ist innerhalb der Stadt / City alles einfach zu erreichen, da das Hotel eine gute Lage hat. Es befinden sich in Laufnähe zahlreiche Lokale, Restaurants und Geschäfte, Mein Zimmer war ausgestattet mit TV, Telefon, Fön im Badezimmer und Tresor. Die Betten waren nach meinem Dafürhalten mit 80/90 cm etwas zu klein geraten in der Breite. Die Länge mit 200 cm passte. Das Zimmer als auch das Badezimmer waren in ihrer Grösse in Ordnung und sauber. Leider ist das Hotel in Stufen angelegt, so dass man auf dem Weg in sein Zimmer mit mehreren Treppen rechnen muss. Gerade wenn man Koffer zu bewegen hat, ist dies hinderlich. Beim Einchecken war zwar ein Helfer vor Ort, nicht jedoch beim Check Out. Ansonsten ist das Hotel und die Hotelanlage sehr schön ausgerichtet. Das Frühstück ist Basis. Die Servicekräfte insbesondere die Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit.

The hotel is modeled like typical mountain town chalets and comes with a charming ambiance and comfortable accommodations. The well-maintained gardens and panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes provided a serene environment for relaxation LOCATION:Situated on the edge of El Calafate, Hotel Sierra Nevada offers a peaceful retreat but at a bit of a distance from the town center. it's a short drive to natural attractions like the Perito Moreno Glacier. The surrounding area is picturesque, with views of the lake and mountains enhancing the appeal. DINE + DRINK: The hotel's restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring local and international cuisine. But i didnt have an opportunity to sample the food, so cannot comment. ROOM: We stayed in Room 109, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: View of the landscape from the sweet balcony attached to the room ; AIR-CON:No Air conditioner, but the room got cool enough in the night;; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a BATH TUB shower; TOILETRIES: Very basic toiletries, bring your own FACILITIES: Very random room fitted with some dated weights that was labelled as a “Gym”! Nothing more and no pool on site. SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs but could certainly do a better job in being more warm and greet guests with broader smiles! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Small Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment - primarily in Spanish!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sierra Nevada! The hotel is charming, with clean and cozy rooms, and it’s conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. During our three-day stay, they took care of all our excursions and airport transportation, making our trip stress-free. Thanks to them, we experienced the walkways at Perito Moreno Glacier, hiked in El Chaltén, and enjoyed a breathtaking boat ride through the Glaciers. They even went the extra mile by packing us a lunch for one of our excursions—a thoughtful touch we really appreciated. Breakfast is included and features a delightful variety of pastries, fresh juices, and delicious coffee—a great way to start the day! Despite the budget-friendly pricing, the service and hospitality feel like 5-star treatment. If you’re visiting El Calafate, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Sierra Nevada. It’s a gem!

The hotel is average, but the noise is beyond reasonable! We did not sleep all night and typically we hike all day and sleep soundly. The noise from nearby roads lasted until 3am with motorcycle (two stroke) high pitch sound that was hard to believe! When we asked to be moved from next door to two screaming kids all night the manager and owner said impolitely no options! Also, several dogs bark at each other very close by at each vehicle going by and at each other all day and especially at night! We would not stay here again and advise good people to try other locations!

La mala atención puede arruinar toda la experiencia en el hotel, y eso fue lo que nos sucedió Cuando ingresamos con mi esposa, notamos que en lugar de una habitación matrimonial nos asignaron una habitación doble con dos camas individuales. Fuimos a pedir que nos cambiaron de habitación a recepción (11/10/2024 a 19:00 horas aproximadamente) y la forma en que nos atendió un empleado (Leandro o Leonel) fue tan mal educada, prepotente y soberbia que a partir de ahí toda la estadía en el hotel fue arruinada y solo nos quedamos porque ya estaba pago. Además no nos cambio de habitación!! Mi consejo es que no vayan!

La atencion del personal, excelente el desayuno excelente, la habitación excelente, el wifi mas o menos, la limpieza de la habitación muy buena, el lugar excelente estas a pocas cuadras del centro y te queda de salida para el perito moreno.
